This is one of the most terrible experiences I have ever experienced!
Today is the last time I will ever order from this JJ’s or recommend it to anyone in and around the area. I am not sure where to even begun this experience but here we go:
With my work day being busy and I am unable to leave my office; I chose JJ’s for lunch delivery for a coworker. The choice was made out of convenience, delivery times, location to our office and we enjoy the food. I placed our order together via the JJ app. I double checked our order and sent it off. I am including time stamps for the rest of this journey.
11:32AM – the order is received 11:34AM – the order is out for delivery 11:56AM – the driver gives us a courtesy call to let us know she is 8 minutes away 12:06PM – We finally receive our food. When I open the bag to my dismay, our bags of chips we ordered are not in the bag. One of the sandwiches is missing ingredients. 12:06PM - I am trying not to get hangry so I call JJ’s to let them know the news. I ask to have the chips and correct sandwich delivered and I am told they are super busy and only have 2 drivers. I cannot be given an ETA for the chips and sandwich delivery. I am disappointed but I am told our delivery will go out first. 12:12PM - After being put on hold for 10+ mins we ask for cookies for the inconvenience. 12:40PM The chips, sandwich and cookies arrive. Or so we thought.
This was the last straw. When we go to greet the delivery driver the first thing she says to us is “Where is the wrong sandwich?”. We let her know it was consumed because that was over an hour ago that our lunch hour started. The employee on the phone never told us to save the sandwich so we could exchange it for the correct one. She then exclaims to us “UH-UH, WE DON’T DO THAT” and surrenders the new bag to us. We open the bag to find that we are still missing a bag of chips and one courtesy cookie. At this point I am fed up with JJ’s and just decided to write my feelings down.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. In conclusion, I am...
Read moreThis store simply has a poor understanding of basic customer service, and how to deliver on an order. I placed a large order for 15 sandwiches via email the day before. Was told pick could be made at 11am the next day. I arrived at the store at 11:25am, well before the lunch crowd. Upon announcing to the cashier my pick up, he did say there were working on it, pointed to the area of assembly, and offered me a beverage. However 20 min later I went to the cash register to pay, and then to the assembly area to check. They had one person slowly assembling the completed sandwiches and chip/cookies into boxes, putting names on them, and checking off on the order list. 5 min later after observing her and other store personnel on the phone and standing around, I went back to the cash register and asked that more than one person be assigned to my order. Of course I was told I had to speak to manager, who get this was at the very next register and had paid no attention to me. When I went to him he began giving me excuses and identifying other priorities he had. And, strangely enough another sandwich maker began arguing with me!! It took a minute for someone else (not the manager) to tell her to shut up! It was now 35 mins after I arrived at the store and after terse back and forth with the manager, I asked for my money back. There was absolutely no response from the manager or the entire staff along the lines of "we're sorry this is taking so long, let me (the manager) help, and pull in a couple more staff to get you your order in say less than 5 mins. Is that ok?" Instead they argued with and gave excuses to a paid customer! Note to store. Customers don't pay for your excuses, nor your apologies. Those have no redeemable value against the time and money spent by the customer. Instead they pay for whatever product or service your business supplies. Deliver that, and you will get...
Read moreI stopped by Sunday December 1st to buy some sandwiches for myself and my wife. When I got home I noticed some of the ingredients I requested wasn’t on the sandwich. My wife and I also noticed the bread was very hard. I called the store to update them on what happened. The representative on the phone said they had a big party they were preparing for and that the bread stood out long than expected and they were super busy, so may have forgotten to add what was requested. They said all they would be able to give me is $5.00 back although I spent over $20.00. I asked to speak to a manager and the supposed manager on the phone said he won’t give any $ back nor a credit in a nasty tone. He put the phone down for about 2 mins and had me talking while the phone was down. When he pick the phone up I asked for his name he said he won’t help me then hung the phone up on me. The next day I went to the store and spoke to a gentleman named Sam and I told him what occurred. I asked for the name of the two people who was at the store when purchasing my sandwiches. One of the guys were working that day. I told Sam it was the guy present at the store and I asked if he was who I spoke with. He said the guy who was rude and hung up was named Mike. The customer service at the store was horrible and the way I was treated on the phone was even worse. I spend a ton of $$$ at jimmy johns catering as a medical device representative. I will never spend $$$ at that location ever again. I asked Sam to have the manager call me and I haven’t received a call to date. Very sad to have people like that working when there are many qualified people who can benefit from a job. I hope no has to go through what I...
