I don't usually take the time to review anything place or person. Gotta share this though. Husband and me go to IHOP on Peachtree Parkway this morning and couldn't be more disappointed. First off, the cashier / hostess station is impeding the traffic flow of incoming / outgoing customers ... it's just weird where its located now. Secondly, when we first walked in, half the restaurant was empty. The hostess walked us past empty tables everywhere and seated us in the obvious kid section, right next to a family with small kids. That said, WE ARE NOT COMPLAINTING, underlined, bold faced, about families eating out with their children. But yes, given the pereference and available space, we'd rather eat and enjoy each other's company in ☮️ and relative quite. We make no apologies to anyone for that preference. So we ask to be moved to a different table, which we were ... although it was dirty. After finally getting service, we each order coffee and water. After a solid 10 minutes, the waitress comes to our table and we have to ask where our drinks are. She said something about the coffee making ... which was fine had we been told that upfront and not left to sit and wonder if we'd been forgotten ... maybe brought our water? So, we placed our order ... both of us very clear about what we were ordering ... and, the waitress didn't write it down. I ordered an order of crapes, eggs over easy and bacon ... hubby, omelet with pancakes. I got eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and half order crapes on the side ... not what I ordered, which I brought to our waitress' attention. She did offer to replace it and I could keep the hash browns ... told her no, because darn it, I was hungry and not willing to wait longer. She said she would fix our ticket to reflect the order change ... I will have hoped so, since it wasn't what I ordered. Mean time, families with small children are being seated around us. Waitress brought the ticket and explained how much cheaper it was to get what was brought rather than the way I originally ordered it. I explained that I only order what I know I can pay for and that it would behove her to write her orders down in the future. All of that said, I waitressed in my younger days. So I am not ovivious to what it takes to wait on other people ... not the easiest of jobs, but not that complicated either. As a whole, this lHOP location does not have it together! Not enough wait staff for a Sunday morning on a holiday weekend and hostess not caring to seat customers in appropriate sections. I get the head count and keeping customers even for the wait staff ... got rethink that sometimes to keep your customers coming back ......
Read moreOnly get 1 star because that's what I have to pick in order to even leave a review. We just moved out in the area, and were use to the Conyers location spoiling us. This experience was so disappointing to know we will not be returning to this location, and unfortunately this was the closest location to us. If you come here, prepare to wait a long time even though there are so many tables open. The staff does not clean them promptly. So even though there are available tables, no one is cleaning them...leading to long wait times in lobby (I see others have mentioned this as well). There was food and trash in between our seats still. It took a while for anyone to even come take our drink orders and the waitresses were just standing around pointing to our table trying to figure out which one was coming (I guess) to serve us. Our waitress was horrible, once we actually got one. While taking our order, someone kept calling her, she would look over and cut us off, so part of our order was wrong. It took about 25-30 minutes for our food to finally come. In the mean time, we could not even get our waitresses attention for refills, napkins etc. She was just standing around, completely oblivious to us or checking on us. Besides our waitress, the staff just seems to be all over the place, and it seems like there is no organization as to who is assigned what tables. It all starts with management, and even this manager was all over the place, no sense of authority. Most of the waitresses seem like they have attitudes or just dont want to be at work. I'm normally an easy person to please, but from start to finish this place SUCKS. Not returning to this location. Yall need some structure and basic customer...
Read moreI am giving this place a one star rating but they don’t even deserve that 1 star. This place is horrible. We visited Atlanta for few days from New York and decided to stop at this IHOP around 11 at night with my 2 little ones, because they were very hungry. This place is run by a people with a huge attitude. Someone mentioned here on another review that it’s for black people only so if you’re white don’t go there. Thats 100% true. Although we are not white, both my husband and I are Asians and I look like white girls so that’s why maybe they ignored us. We were seated and no one came to take our order for eat least 30 minutes. My 3 years old started crying because he was hungry. My husband called the attendant and told him about the situation, she said ok and left. A black couple came and sat next to our table and the attendant who was also black started taking their order. So we were totally ignored by that racist with disgusting attitude attendant. So unprofessional and nasty of her. I called the corporate the next day and they said they got lots of complaints about that place and will look into who runs it locally. I pray and hope that they clean the whole stuff and get a better person as a manager and more professional attendants. We should have read the reviews before stopping there. We headed to Krystal right next to it and they were awesome. All we needed was a bit food to feed the kids and that IHOP location failed....
