I ordered shrimp Chow Mein. I paid online through Beyond Menu. When I got home and opened the container I was given shrimp with vegetables in white sauce. I called and told them that part of my order was wrong. They insisted what they gave me was Shrimp Chow Mein. I told them no and to please make what I ordered and I will come pick it up. I get to the restaurant, I'm using this word loosely. The guy and I had some back and forth. I gave them back their food and asked for refund. They refused to give me a refund for the incorrect item. My total was $55. They said I could choose something else and suggested Lo Mein. I've had their Lo Mein and it wasn't good. It was flavorless and the noodles were gooey. I noticed there was a price difference btwn the Shrimp Chow Mein and the Lo Mein. Per the online menu and the store menu. The Lo Mein is $11.95. I paid $14.95 for the Shrimp Chow Mein. The description for Shrimp Chow Mein mentions nothing abt white sauce. He tried to tell me the crispy noodles that comes with the soup is what I'm supposed to get. No sir. I was also told that their Shrimp Chow Mein is different from authentic Chinese restaurants. Their Chow Mein comes with vegetables and white sauce. The amount of gaslighting was ridiculous. Chow Mein is Chow Mein. It is similar to Lo Mein the type of noodles used is just different. How are you renaming a dish and passing it off as Chow Mein? He finally gave me a refund for the difference in price. However he did not put my money in my hand but on the counter. The disrespect was loud. My family and I eat there every other week. Spending $50 plus dollars. Tonight they lost a regular customer. Not one apology was offered. I had to leave my home in 34 degree weather. All that was given were excuses. Talking about it's not his fault. I said it's definitely not my fault I'm a paying customer. Since the change in ownership the quality in food has declined and so has the service. I will no longer be supporting this restaurant and giving them my money. These restaurants need to be held accountable. Please do better. I contacted Beyond Menu and they ended up giving...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE: Happen to be in the area and decided to give them another try. We did once enjoy this spot and then it declinedā¦. But today: yes!! The food was great. The prices went up, but I get it with the economy. But the food did not disappoint. If they keep it up, we will for sure be back.
This used to be my go to place. Not so much anymore. They have fallen short several times when it comes to our orders. Stuff has been consistently incorrect even after placing very specific notes with the order. And items have become hit or miss. One day they are good and on point and the next it like a completely different dish. We will have to find another place. Update: now the menu prices have sky rocketed!!! They were pricey before in comparison to other spots, but now they are over priced. The food is ok. Surely not what itās worth now. They have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved here not that long ago and was trying to find a good Chinese restaurant near me. I ordered lo mein and mongolian chicken from here. It was the worst customer service I have ever received and the food was disgusting! The food arrived in a timely manner but the driver got mad a t me for not tipping him. At the time I did not have any cash so my mom had bought us food as a "gift" for moving into our new place. I didn't know she hadn't tipped him on the receipt. He went ballistic on me and shoved the food in my arms as we walked away after arguing with me over why I'm not tipping him. When I came inside I opened my box and the noodles were soggy and the chicken was just disgusting. Maybe it was that day only but I was so disappointed...
