Updated: 5) Today was a good experience. Everything was great. I really liked my burger, and the white cheddar grit cake. My wife's steak looked good. My kid did not like the quesadilla, because it was hot, they made it with pepper jack cheese, not a good idea for a kids meal. But overall it was fine. I still think there beer list needs work. They really need to get past this boring list with just a small handful of ok drinks. If the next visit is good then I'll up my rating again.

  1. I'm lowering my rating. This is the first time I've left thinking it wasn't really that great, or worth the price. We had the spinach feta dip as an app, it was fine, nothing too great. The trigger fish was good, but it felt like there was half as much on the plate as there should be. My wife said the filet was excellent, and the portion size was larger than it had been before. The kids chicken fingers were good. However, the desert was not good. We got the tres leches cake, which was just a dry pound cake with some light soak in something, and it came with whip cream and some crumbles that did nothing to the experience but dry it out further. We also got the chocolate cake, which was just a plane cake with some chocolate syrup, maybe like a brownie, nothing special. So it was just a sad ending to what is normally a better experience.

  2. Wagyu burger was good, again. Filet was over med-rare, almost well done, but my wife said it was 'ok'. The kids grilled cheese seemed fine, but my kid took off all the cheese. The flat bread was really good.

  3. Went again today. Still really enjoy this place. the cuban was good, the filet was good, the chick pea fries were enjoyable and interesting. The fried asparagus wasn't great, but the experience was worth it overall. I still think this is a quality experience and will gladly go back.

  4. This is the second time we've been here. I love it. Today I got the ceasar and salmon, my wife the chicken stack, and the eggplant small plate. All super great. Tasted really good. Also had the victory dirtwolf IPA and the king's estate Pinot, everything tasted on point. Definitely will come back! Waiter was Christopher, no bs, to the...

Food was amazing and the presentation of the food was great. We sat outside on the patio and it was very nice and clean, very impressed.

However, this was our first visit to a Marlow’s and the service is what turned us off. We sat and waited for longer than a few mins and our server brought us water and told us she’d be right back, no other greet than that, then went and took care of her tables next to us, both who seemed upset like us about how long things were taking. We waited 10-15 minutes before she came back to get our drink order, we had almost walked out because it took so long, and only asked if we had any questions or are we ready. So we ordered drinks and food. My wine took a little longer than my husbands soda, which is fine because I know they wait on the bartender, then it came. Food took a little long for what we ordered, salad and burger, and as soon as the food dropped I ordered another glass of wine to have with my meal. Well I intentionally ate extremely slow, about 20 mins for a salad, because I was waiting for my wine the entire time and our server never showed. So she dropped the check when we were both done with our meals completely and then informs me she took my second wine off the bill because they couldn’t find the wine.... Okay well as our server she should’ve checked on the wine after a few mins and when informed that from the bartender, she should’ve came and asked me if I wanted a second option because they didn’t know if they had another bottle of what I ordered, instead of leaving me with nothing to drink and then just tell me she took it off the bill... Then she offered me the wine still if they found a bottle but we would not pay for it, in which I told her no because we were ready to go at this point because everything took so long and we were annoyed. As we were waiting for our card and the bill back my wine shows... 30 mins later so I sent it back.

All in all very disappointed with the service, as that was the only thing that gave us a bad taste for this place. Her other tables around us were looking around and had the same expressions as we did so I believe it was her, not the pace of...

I was at Marlow's yesterday in Peachtree Corners late afternoon with a guest visiting me as Marlow's has always been a go to spot for my husband and I, kids when visiting, guests and friends. We live right in John's Creek and have enjoyed Marlow's for the last 4 years since moving here from NY. I am not complaining about the food and never have, however when I received the bill yesterday and was charged $51.00 for 2 glasses of wine I had to literally compose myself from go crazy. Firstly, my husband is a liquor distributor, so I know alcohol and wine pricing. I have been drinking J.lhor for years and of course I know the price of a bottle. $12.99 a bottle at Total Wines and 12.99 at Local Vines right around the corner from my home. How do you have the nerve to charge me $25.50 for a 9 ounce glass of wine when the I can get (2) bottles for the 2 glasses you charged me. The manager who was lovely came over after I told the waitress to please go to the bar and double check this price or I will get up and go to the bar and handle myself. I felt as though the manager herself was a bit thrown and really could not justify the pricing and when she checked what 4 ounces was which is nothing, that was $18.00 so she could say no more. Ridiculous. I responded with next time I come I will bring my own bottle of wine and she actually said that would be fine. Unfortunately there will be no next time. My family and I will never return to Marlow's anywhere in Georgia. I resent an establishment attempting to gouge and I certainly do not appreciate being taken advantage off. 4 drinks came up to $76.00. How does one justify that the drinks came out to be more than the meal. A burger for me and a Fish Tacos for my girlfriend. Again, highway robbery and sadly I will continue to Patronize Firebirds and other establishments near me but sadly this wine episode with Marlow's has ended our customer...

We’ve visited Marlow’s Tavern twice—Satellite and Peachtree Corners—and unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing in the last three weeks. At the Satellite location, we tried the burgers, and honestly, things have changed since the pandemic for one of the best dining spots in Gwinnett. The burger was packed and had a hot dog texture, just round. It honestly didn’t look or taste like fresh ground beef. The burger tasted as though it had been frozen for months and was on par with your local fast food joints. Later, we visited the PC location, and what a joke… we ordered the Hawaiian ribeye and the filet. Come on, it was so bad that the Chef had to come explain that because they changed distributors, the quality was compromised. Both steaks were $31+ but neither were close choice cuts. The best dish was the trout dip, but if you had fresh trout dip on the coast, you’ll be disappointed; it was extra mayo and lacked flavor. I also ordered their wings—fried wings with a side of Pete’s hot sauce. Soooo disappointing! Now, I think if you just stop by to drink, you’ll be in good hands. Since the pandemic, cocktails have grown and are fairly good. Lastly, the service was subpar at both locations… at one, we got a mean girl attitude, but it lightened up after realizing we were senior citizens with class, and at the other spot, it was slow service. I could go further, but I’ll digress, and both restaurants need to adjust their customer service. With that, I wouldn’t recommend Marlow’s anymore because it has become the epitome of bar food. If you really want a steak or burger experience, there are two good restaurants across the street on Sugarloaf.
