Long review - READ TILL THE END
I pulled up at the drive thru at 8:42pm, I was told they were CLOSED. I asked if their hours changed because their hours are until 9pm. The cashier told me they've already broken down and cleaned the machines... but I asked why would you do that 20 mins before closing. The cashier went on and on concluding they were officially closed.
The next day, I went back. I ordered the regular PEANUT POWER PLUS 20oz. I requested a special order... instead of peanut butter I asked for almond butter. And instead of non fat milk, add almond milk. I also asked for VEGAN protein. I paid for my order. The cashier handed me a 40z smoothie contain strawberries. I immediately knew I had the wrong order. The cashier assured me that was my order. I gave the smoother back requesting to remake my order. The cashier again assured me this was my smoothie. I took 2 sips and said NO! This isnt right. The cashier said fine but to keep the drink. I sat in the drive thru for 4 to 8 mins just to be told I have to pay $8.64 for them to remake my order because THEY got the order wrong. I smiled and asked for the manager. The manager told me the same thing and gave me the option to be refunded and that I can reorder (which made NO SENSE). I said fine. After I rec'd my refund, the manager told me to pull up front and for all the inconvenience she will make my smoothie correctly AT NO CHARGE. I sat in the from the store for ALMOST 15mins just to be told the smoothie they gave me in the beginning was correct and to have a nice day.
Before driving off in angry i noticed a pain in my stomach. By the time I made it home, the pain was excruciating. I remained in the bathroom for HOURS. I couldn't firgure out why I was in sooo much pain. I'm currently fasting so I couldn't blame it on anything I ate. Then it downed on me... those TWO SIPS I took from thatvsmoothie... The smoothie had REGULAR MILK! omg! I am vegan and I have terrible reactions to ANY THING dairy! As I'm typing this frm the bathroom HOURS later, THANKS ALOT SMOOTHIE KING... you could have KILLED me. Hope I don't need to get an attorney involved if I'm not better by the morning!

Read moreRude and dismissive customer service. I arrived early at 7:45am. I had just done a basic metabolic rate test so I had been fasting and was faint. Another reason I needed this smoothie was I am also still recovering from oral surgery so I need a liquid diet. I had received a marketing email about a buy one get one free size 15oz until May 16. I did not print the email because it said “a special” so I just expected the special to be internal and communicated to staff top down. That was not my experience.
When I entered the store, I was not greeted albeit four staff members (2 women and 2 men) were sitting or standing inside the store. I felt as though I had just interrupted a group meeting. But the sign said open and there was a customer waiting ahead of me. I waited my turn and when asked, I informed the clerk about the special I read about. He asked for proof then denied the special when I could not produce evidence of their special. I was flabbergasted. He then went about his day and he casually mentioned checking the mobile app. I pulled put my phone and checked the mobile app. I asked him for help because I rarely use the app. Instead of helping, the clerk said I was a low priority and that I would have to wait.
Because I felt faint from no food and I needed to take my post-surgical antibiotic timely, I left while telling the clerk not to bother getting around to me that I am leaving due to bad customer service.
I left, and ate my cold oatmeal in the car while typing up a complaint on the Smoothie King website. I would have preferred to rejoin the Smoothie King customer family and use my app and points more regularly but this experience has changed me for good. No more Smoothie King.
I’ve never been so rudely treated by total strangers who are supposed to be supportive of health and wellness. This is not on corporate brand and should be addressed by upper management. Read moreI did not have a good experience yesterday at the smoothie King. I decided to stop by especially since it was national smoothie Day. I had my babies in the car and I went to the drive-thru. After I received my smoothies I drove up a little bit to do a quality check. The two 32 oz peanut power Plus strawberry smoothies were so chunky. The ice was not blended, they were chunks of dates, & the flavor is never consistent. After checking, now I had to pull back into the drive through because I did not want to unload two babies out of the car. After I wait, back through the drive-thru I'm able to tell the cashier about my smoothies. My child is crying and I just want to refund, but apparently they can't do that. So she offers to re-blend it. After she reblends the smoothies she comes back to me and says you did drink a little bit right? Because the smoothies are 3 in from the top. I replied no. I was super disappointed and she could tell that in my face and she said she would remake them. At this time my child is still crying and I'm just ready to go. I wish I was rich so I did not care about the money. Then she tells me to pull up to the front while she makes my smoothies. The whole time I'm waiting my baby is crying. She then comes out with my smoothies that are remade and she forgets the straws so now she has to go back and get straws. Finally I taste my second smoothie and it is super sweet and foamy. Like there is not enough ice. At this point I'm done and I need to go home. My husband and I did not finish our smoothies because they were gross. I was super disappointed and I don't think I will be coming back because I never know if the good...
