Response from JS - see bottom of this review. basically told me to contact them via email. I did, twice, no return email, nothing! If I could change service to 1 star I would.
Where do I start??? Upon entering door, No greeting other than “you dining in or take out”, I said, dining in, she said “you gotta go to the hostess” and pointed to the stand (the hostess was sitting in booth behind the stand. Again, No greeting other than “how many”. She took us to our booth.
We sit down and maybe 3 or 4 minutes later waitress comes to table. We gave her our drink orders and we ask a couple of questions regarding what we were ordering. Since we were sharing I only ordered a side of potato’s. (consist of 3 baby reds) apparently now the bags only comes with 1 potato so we ordered 1 extra to go with the bag order. Our waitress was very helpful in answering our questions. We gave her our order. She did greet us (About time someone did) I do not remember her name but she was very nice.
Now here is where it begins to fall apart. We sit there maybe 10 minutes and our order comes out. Awesome we’ve been waiting for this. My side of potato’s came in the bag (no problem) we open the bag and notice that there is very little “juice” in the bottom. When I say very little there was not enough to even shake the bag to cover the crab Clusters. Which by the way there was no way that it was a pound of them. There was 1 cluster of fairly decent size and 1 little bitty cluster and 2 tiny legs. Anyway, waitress walks by and I stop her and ask for our drinks and for more of the “juice” for my potato’s… she tells me that it’s an extra $2.95 for it. I said uh NO mam. It’s “juice” I mean seriously! She said that that’s the way they do it now. I ask for Manager, she finally comes to table and I explain to her what was going on and she said yes, it’s $2.95. I again say it’s “juice” the potato’s came out of the bag dry (no seasoning)! She did finally bring out a small bowl of the juice. (Maybe a fourth of a cup).
I know I’m complaining about “Juicy” hence the name “JUICY SEAFOOD”. but between the atmosphere, the waitresses being in their phones and not paying attention to anything or anyone, as we were leaving, one stepping in front of me to get tip of the table, never said excuse me, the lack of the Juicy, the drinks coming mid meal, the attitude of the manager, the crab being so small and dry and the restroom being discussing, we did not have a good experience this evening. Juicy Seafood step up your game! Your employees need to get off those phones and get to work! Clean the place up too! We are paying for good food and good service and NOT getting it. I will also be contacting your District Manager and the Corporate Offices of Juicy Seafood.
I would also like to add that I have read over a lot of theses reviews, I can see that NOTHING has been done to correct some of these problems with employees attitudes, being on phones, customer service, the reviews all have pretty much the...
Read moreUpon entering into restaurant host and waitresses alike where seated in forward booth right behind host stand doing nothing more than playing on their phones not doing work related task for restaurant. Me and my girlfriend got seated in a timely manner after initially playing musical booths with host. Ironically enough after it was said and done we got placed in the booth they just vacated.
Food came out in a timely manner as one would expect from a seafood establishment. Our waitress on the other hand was barely attentive leaving myself with my drink glass empty on numerous occasions. Not once did any other passing waitress either ask if I desired more or relay to our waitress that I may be in need of something. (We were seated directly in the eye sight of the host stand where all of them congregated playing on their phones, which is also by the front door).
Me and my girlfriend ate our supper and arranged dishes in a way that would make it easier to clean the table (as we always do regardless of where we eat). I proceeded to the restroom to wash my hands once again to find other employees not doing their job functions but playing on their phones while being paid for their time by the company.
Upon passing the host stand on my way back another waitress (not ours) handed me the bill and stated our waitress requested her to give this bill to me, (She could’ve simply laid it in the table as my gf was still sitting there).
The icing on this whole experience was when I went to pay out our waitress (KenS) hovered over me watching what I putting on the ticket in the way of gratuity. Then she left briefly and came back after she seen cash laid on the table and blatantly asked IS THAT MINE AND TOOK IT OFF THE TABLE BEFORE WE EVEN GOT UP TO LEAVE.
☝🏻All of this is completely unacceptable and it seems that the juicy seafood needs to hire a manager that do actually manage employees. Also the waitresses and staff alike need to either be retrained or find employment elsewhere.
I do keep pictures of all of my receipts when we go out to eat at a restaurant for the simple fact that folks like to do shady things (write in tips) to get extra incentives. Pictured Below

Read moreToday Sunday 09/19/2022 me and my family decided to go eat seafood. We always go to the location in Pearl because it's closer to our home. When we first came in we was asked how many of us and it was 4, so we was told to wait a few minutes, so we sat down in the little waiting area they were talk some of the employees had their purse and backpack on so I was not sure if they were getting off or just arriving to work. We waited for about 5 minutes or so, the young girl with a jacket on and her purse sat us down at a round talk and gave us the menus. So we sat there waiting while another young girl with long soft locs kept walking pass us,so she finished up with a couple and they left. We still sitting there wait for someone to at least ask us if we wanted something to drink, but nobody came to our table. Now at this point we have been sitting there for about 20 minutes with no Waitress. So we see someone else come in with A large party About six people She sat them down but the young lady with the locs Sat them next to our table, then the young lady goes to that talk and ask them if they wanted to get something to drink, at that point I said something to her and she tells us to wait a minute while she take someone order that came in after us. I then went to the front counter and ask who suppose to be our waiter Because we had been sitting there for over 20 minutes more like 30. The 2 young ladys go back and forward with each other talking about the young lady that sat us down told her she was not our waiter. I explain to a manager the issue she came to our table and apology and stated will take our order, as we sat there some more waiting for the manager to back the young lady starts to take the order of table the other table, I really started to get really upset and angry with the employees in this establishment. I have never felt disrespected at a restaurant before til today at Juicy seafood in Pearl, m. I really wanted to make a scene but my kids was with me and I had just got out of church.. I will never go back to this place again and will ell everyone I know not to go their.. Service...
