I’ve been wanting to come here for months after seeing a review of the restaurant on TikTok. I live in San Antonio currently so everytime I’m in Houston I’ve been trying to make it down . Luckily I came at the right time and this place didn’t disappoint. Upon walking in an extremely kind employee by the name of Kelvin helped walk me through the process of ordering. I had order e a shrimp burrito and It was everything I expected. With me being pescatarian I was very pleased by the fact they don’t add pork to any of their items such as the jambalaya rice and the greens as well as a cabbage. I will definitely be recommending this spot to all my friends in the Houston area as you are spending the same amount here as you would at chipotle and the serving size is just as good if not better. As far as the quality of food you should already know this place clears chipotle in probably every category. I definitely look forward to coming back. The customer service was exceptional. Amazing job by the entire staff from the top down on creating such a welcoming...

The étouffée itself was more reminiscent of a soupy gumbo—bland and not quite what I expected. However, the red beans and rice were surprisingly flavorful and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. I would definitely get more of that next time.
Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It feels like a newer establishment still finding its groove—some seasoning adjustments could really elevate the dishes. I’d give it a...
Read moreMe and a friend of mine went today for the 1st time. When you open the door you are greeted with the most delicious smell, that's the 1st sign that the food is going to be good. We get to the line to order and the options were in plenty. They even offered samples and I love a good sample. I got the catfish bowl with brown rice, red beans, cabbage, corn and crawfish etoufee. My friend got the catfish bowl with the same thing expect for the crawfish etoufee, she got shrimp creole (I think). Oh and that cajun tatar sauce needs to be bottled cause honey it did not disappoint. We spent about $50 for 2 bowls but the portion size is so big it is worth it. Overall I would most...
