So happy to have a Luce in my local Pearland! 😆 Lovely place, great vibes. Quin's a sweetheart, and the rest of the staff are very docile, hard workers. As someone who's been in the industry, I'm grateful to see staff maintaining the space during down-times.
I got an iced latte this time, I'd rate my drink 95%. The -5% since there was a slight acrid taste that mellowed out once some ice melted. But the drink was well-balanced between the espresso, milk, and ice so my heart is content. There's also tea/milk selections, munchies, coffee beans, and merchandise for anyone who needs more than coffee. For the eco-conscious consumer, you may also bring your own clean tumbler (8oz, 12oz, 16oz hot beverages; 16oz cold) 😁
Store space is well-maintained and clean. The interior design is nice and airy with the signature Luce geometric white base warmed with weathered wood furnishings alongside modern and industrial, Thomas Edison lighting. They only have hard seating in case anyone needs to know. Restrooms are clean, there's cosmetic lighting mirror in case anyone needs a makeover touch-up (I can only speak for the women's room) 👌👌Open kitchen concept.
As an aurally sensitive person, I can appreciate the quiet music against the boomy acoustics of the space. The store has great lighting, suitable for analog or digital work. Great table space for artists/journalers, study sessions, meetings, small gatherings, etc. They have a wall ledge for minimalist workers/cafe-goers or smaller 2-3 people hangouts. They also have Wi-Fi and charging outlets...

This is completely unacceptable!! I paid $7.04 (plus left a $1.00 tip so $8.04) for a 16 oz "Sweet Americano". Before even taking a sip of coffee, I opened the lid to find about 12 oz of coffee in my cup.
While the coffee was pleasant, this amount of coffee for the price I paid is not!! And after all, it's espresso and hot water with a splash of cream. How about adding more hot water?!
I'm a first time customer, so not sure if I'll be back.
Also, no offense at all, but the person working the cash register had very, very limited English skills. My only reason for bringing this up is because when in need of asking a question it was difficult to...
Read moreThe drinks and service are always A1 with Luce and I love their charcoal and matcha mixes. However, as someone who enjoys getting work done in a coffee shop setting, this location was not it. There are only two large tables that were full when I got there (sat 6 and each only had 2 people with their stuff spread out), then a skinny bar top type deal facing a wall. The bar top at least had plugs, but it felt crammed and isolated looking at a wall and being mindful of small spacing. While I would always recommend the drinks at Luce, I would definitely not recommend this location if you’re looking to get school or...
