Absolutely worst experience ever dining in a “restaurant”. I know its an applebees which is like rock bottom of restaurants but our server Tawna was as nasty as the food. Her attitude. Her miserable vibe. Her demeanor, work ethic was TERRIBLE. From someone that has worked in a restaurant for years, it was absolutely incredible how rude she was. The slick comments she made walking away as if no one can hear her. Like cmon boo talk crap behind doors we all do it. Dont make it known. We then went to order dessert and she stated they didnt have any ice cream, 2 seconds later another server comes walking down to his section with a whole ice cream sundae. I know this is petty but I had asked of there was any ice cream once again and she straight up lied in my face. I then told her another server Michael had said there was ice cream, & she said “Don’t listen to that guy he doesn’t know what he’s doing.” Then proceeded to say “I dont know where he got it from… the store down the street.” Then she proceeds to say “That my general manager told me theres no more ice cream”. The way she said it made it a very rude and nasty response especially to throw your coworker down like that behind their back. Its giving not a team player at all. She then goes to get my table the one scoop of ice cream we asked for and I heard her talking again about our table & explaining to her coworkers about how much of an inconvenience it was to scoop it. At this point I walked up to her and said forget about the ice cream. She then replied with “im already getting it for you guys” I said “I don’t want it, your mouth did enough talking.” Girl made me loose my appetite. I dont know what needs to happen & who needs to get some type of verbal warning or if this business is even professional enough to do that, but I will contact corporate...
Read moreSo l was really looking to give this establishment a "0." If l had checked all their 1* reviews, l would not have gone. I have not been well for the past few days, hence the delay in writing this review. Visited on Wednesday, July 23rd, at approximately 330 pm. The establishment was empty. But it was outside of lunch and not dinner time. Sat down, and appetizers arrived before utensils. We had to ask for utensils. Pina colada was all ice. I mean.huge cracked ice. Waiter had it remade, same thing. I asked for the manager and she came over and offered to remake it. She certainly did, all whipped cream no cherry and a but less chunky of ice. So 3 fails on the pink colada. The burger was bla and had a sli w of green tomato which for all intent and purpose means it was not ready to be consumed. I am sorry l did not take.photos as l would normally.
The takeout was the worse of all. I specifically asked for extra sauce on the fettuccine. The pasta appeared as if it never saw a saucepan as it had no visible sauce and there was no extra sauce as requested. The chicken and sausage was even worse. The only thing palliative from a $100 meal was the mozzarella sticks. It was like throwing that money in the thrash.
Who would have thought. There was no crowd wo no reason for the entrees to have been rushed. Also, the waiter gave the impression that the fettuccine was the only item that would meet my dietary needs as in not spicy. Really?
A huge fail. For an almost empty establishment on off peak the waiter was not very attentive.
Pls don't send your chain email link. There is nothing more you need to learn about the situation as it ia detailed here extensively. Let me know how you plan to...
Read more**Currently at the restaurant with a party of 10. John was our server. 3 people ordered all you can eat boneless wings and never got more than one round in an hour and a half. Why would I order something that I can't get?? Service is unacceptable. Check was supposed to be split. But wasn't. A bad experience all around.
*Well aware that Mother's Day would be crowded, we still decided on Applebees with a party of 8. Wait time was over 30 minutes but as busy as it was, there were empty tables, servers standing around, and it took four people to clean off a table for us. At 4:05, we were seated with Adam. We ordered alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and two classic samplers to start, knowing it may take awhile to receive our food. Our samplers came about 20 minutes later and we ordered entrees that did not arrive until after 5:30. Two entrees were cold and sent back (Quesadilla burger and BBQ Brisket Tacos) and the $1 Drink of the Month Margarita, even with strawberry added was not that good. Blue Hawaiian drink was beautiful and tasted ok. Frozen strawberry lemonade was delicious as well as the pomegranate tea. We were told there were no more baked potatoes and upon changing orders, saw potatoes come out. We ended up leaving at around 6:15. Entirely too long to just eat. Most of us ended up taking the food out since we had sat there for so long. Adam thankfully had two of the entrees removed that we were unhappy with but overall the experience was not a good one for the mothers or anyone else...
