Bolay Restaurant - A Vegan and Vegetarian Delight
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bolay, a restaurant that specializes in vegan and vegetarian options. From the moment I walked in, the friendly and courteous staff greeted me with a warm smile. The atmosphere was inviting, with a clean and modern interior that made me feel instantly comfortable.
One of the first things that impressed me about Bolay was its extensive menu of vegan and vegetarian dishes. They had various options, ranging from bowls filled with fresh and colorful vegetables to flavorful plant-based proteins. Whether you're a die-hard vegan or simply looking to incorporate more plant-based meals into your diet, Bolay has something to satisfy every palate.
The food at Bolay is nothing short of exquisite. Each bowl is carefully crafted with fresh, vibrant ingredients that come together harmoniously. The flavors are bold and well-balanced, leaving you feeling satisfied and nourished. Whether you choose their signature Bolay Bowl or create your masterpiece from their extensive selection of ingredients, you can rest assured that you'll be treated to a culinary experience like no other.
Despite the high quality of the food, Bolay manages to keep its prices affordable. This is a refreshing change, as many vegan and vegetarian establishments tend to be on the pricier side. Bolay proves that delicious and wholesome plant-based meals can be accessible to everyone without breaking the bank.
Aside from the fantastic food, Bolay excels in its commitment to cleanliness. The restaurant is impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail is evident. From the pristine dining area to the spotless kitchen, you can confidently dine, knowing that hygiene is a top priority at Bolay.
Overall, my experience at Bolay was exceptional. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of vegan and vegetarian options that cater to various tastes and preferences. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. Bolay is a must-visit whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or simply looking to explore plant-based cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience that celebrates the beauty of vegan and...
Read moreI stumbled upon Bolay while walking to Pincho Factory at Pembroke Lakes Square mall. It was their grand opening and 2 lovely ladies convinced me to come check it out. I'm glad I did because I became a regular customer. This is now my go-to healthy option after I go to LA gym in Pembroke Pines.
I know the "create your bowls" concept has been growing like wildfire in SoFlo but I find the quality of food at this establishment far superior and prices are very reasonable too. For $8, you get 1 base, 1 veggie, 1 topping plus sauce. For $2 more, you get 2 bases, 2 veggies, 2 proteins, and sauce. For the base, I always go for the Cilantro Noodles, Forbidden Black Rice or Kale & Currant Salad. For veggies, I love the Cajun Sweet Potato, Paleo Sprouts or Balsamic Mushrooms. For protein, I don't have a favorite because they are all good but I ended up getting the Miso Glazed Tofu and Spicy Thai Shrimp on my last couple of visits. Now top your bowl masterpiece with a topping then you are good to go. I recommend the Goat Cheese crumbles. It just simply makes the different elements pop. And don't forget the different sauces if you so desire but I don't think it's necessary considering their so many ingredients crammed in the large bowl.
I've been here 5 times and the service has been consistent. Always friendly and they will gladly give samples to try before adding to your bowl. The place is always clean and the food display counter is well organized. Bonus, they also provide free cell phone chargers...
Read moreI really have loved Bolay for some time now, but the last few times I’ve gone, I’ve noticed that food quality has gone down. I know the ingredients cycle so this isn’t part of why I rated lower, but we really loved the Cajun sweet potatoes - it was a shame to see them go!
A few of my and my boyfriend’s favorites were switched out, the portions have gone down for sure (bowls have been feeling significantly lighter or are noticeably under filled), options for some things have been limited (now can’t ask for tomatoes and cilantro online, the new potatoes have been overly salty, and the Brussels sprouts - which used to be smaller and perfectly cooked - are now larger, undercooked on the inside, and constantly burnt on the outside. That’s a huge bummer because I LOVED how they were being made before. It really is a bummer to see this decline :/
Previous review (5 stars): One of my favorite fresh bowl spots in south Florida. I recommend ordering in advance and picking up, especially if during lunch hours or after the end of the typical work day, since the line can get REALLY long. Absolutely worth it to plan ahead and run in to grab it and walk back out. The food is fresh and cooked constantly throughout the day in small batches, assuring that...
