I have purchased multiple diamonds at jared, but over the years i feel the luxury experience has been dropped. Today i stopped by to pick up my new Rolex ordered and overnighted from another location. I was extremely happy and excited, I couldn’t wait. Today, I arrived with my wife to purchase the wedding band as we get married next month and to pick up my new time piece. Alexa was my sales advisor, she’s been great since the beginning btw. However, today was just a big downfall for me. The Rolex i was sold from Jared Pines had no papers or authenticity card. Everything was written in chinese. I asked the manager to allow me to take it to Rolex as it would make me more comfortable about a 16k purchase. His answer right away was if you take it, i wont refund you! The store manager also said that the card meant nothing. So I expressed what it meant to me and others. He then replied, “you’ll be able to sell it in a future with no card. The card just adds value to the watch”. His response made me feel like my purchase at this location was never valued. Not to mention, my proposal stone was a big expense that a month later lost a stone. The manager had the same watch in store, but didn’t want to accommodate me. The solution was to order another one that cost $1800 more and have it shipped from another store. To offset the price he would discount the custom wedding band. I felt robbed, unappreciated, unvalued, and disappointed. I worked for Gucci and many luxury retails and this is not the way i would handle a situation with a luxury piece. Last, my money had to be mailed and refunded in a check because the store didn’t have the funds. Manager refused to put my cash on my card, instead i had to wait a week and drive another hour to pick up a check. Lost about 3 hours today for a huge disappointment. Do not buy Rolex from Jared. Mark ups are 5-8k on most watches. Some with no papers.
Just updating this. This will be the third week on Saturday coming up. I have yet to receive the refund check the manager promised to refund within 7 business days. I’ve gone to the store multiple times and texted the sales person. I just want my funds back!

The sales lady kept pressuring me to apply and see what I qualify for, I ended up applying. She said I qualified for a 18 month no interest and she began showing me diamonds, she showed me one that fit in the amount I qualified for. She stated that is was great quality and great clarity and insisted I put the diamond on my credit account to hold it so it doesn't get sold. Again feeling pressured I agreed. I went through with the purchase and some time went by, I received some notice that interest would begin on my account, I called and spoke with multiple people explaining that the sales lady told me I had 18 month no interest. This was very stressful and finally resolved. I later had the ring cleaned at a jewelry store and I asked about the ring and was told it was a low clarity and was over charged. I called Jared's corporate office to explain my concerns about being misled by the sales lady of the clarity and overcharged, I was told to go get an appraisal, I spent money and got an appraisal, then I was told it wasn't good and I had to get another. I went to an appraiser Jared's set me up with, The appraiser did not inspect, measure or truly appraise the ring. The appraiser looked at the serial number and used the information on a web site to appraise the ring. The lady in the corporate office explained to me she was sorry the sales lady misled me, and there is nothing she can do and the appraisal that Jared's set me up with shows the rings value is above what I paid. But the appraisal clearly states that it is for insurance purposes and I have an email from Jared's corporate office that states an insurance appraisal is not valid. They say whatever they want to make it good for them. Stay far away from this company.

Read moreI had written a review last year in August, but unfortunately I wrote too soon and this place has been nothing but a nightmare. Since August of last year until Feb of this year..I have been going back and forth with them regarding a custom engagement that me and my partner decided to do with them since they didn't have the ring i was looking for. The sales person we were dealing with made promises left and right and saying they can do everything I wanted, including a refund if they did not like the out come of the ring. After many, many texts and conversations exchange (which I still have), they "still" didn't get the ring right. Even the sales person we were dealing with also have noticed that the photos and wax were not correct. The final ring was completely different then what I agreed too and the Diamond was foggy all around and scratched and it was way to thick of a band which they took it upon themselves to do that, when I never agreed to it. The list goes on..The store manger could of careless regarding if the ring was made correctly or not and tried to make it seem the ring was fine when "clearly" it wasn't. They did not want to give us the refund, even though I have proof of all the conversations I had with the sales person on how the ring is suppose to look..Nope..he didn't care. Even had the audacity to tell me he would "remake the ring as a one time courtesy", i looked at him and said..you guys made a total different ring and you still can't do what I asked. This is your fault. They pretty much said "oh,well" and forcing me to settle on a ring I never agreed too. Do not come here and if you are going to get a custom ring. PLEASE go to a private jeweler cause this place will tell you they can do x,y,z and that you can do a refund when it is false advertisement. There is a reason why Jared has a class claims lawsuit against them in federal court. PLEASE save yourself the headache and MONEY and do not come here and go else where. YOU will...
