I ordered 2 beach club sandwiches for delivery. It was raining when the driver delivered the subs, so I gave a nice tip & paid in cash. When I unwrapped the sandwich, I immediately noticed the brown lettuce. So I just scooped it off. As I’m picking through the lettuce, I realize there is NO TURKEY in my sandwich! Neither of the 2 sandwiches had turkey in them! They were meatless sandwiches with brown lettuce.
I called the restaurant and was transferred to the manager. The manager offered me a store credit. I told the manager, “it’s my family’s dinner time and I don’t have any thing else to eat. Could you send us the correct sandwiches.” The female manager on the phone said “I can not prove there is no meat in your sandwhich, so I can not replace the sandwiches”. (This is why I’m going out of my way to leave a review.). She was insinuating I was lying, and leaving me without dinner! I told her I wouldnt be going back to her store, so I didn’t want the credit I wanted a refund. Since I paid in cash, this poor driver was sent to drop off my refund! This manager chose to send her driver twice and leave the customer hungry 🤯 We ended up going to a McDonalds drive thru for a late, unhealthy dinner 😑
In the middle of this,I remembered this exact error had happened to me about 6 months ago with this same location. The difference was that when I called the store to tell them, the response from that employee was “sorry about that I’ll have a new sandwich sent over”. I placed an order in the App for pickup, paid upfront, received confirmation of the order and even a notification that my order was ready for pickup. When I showed up to the place, the restaurant was closed and the staff was inside cleaning. I asked for my order but they provided no information arguing their system was already shut down, that I had to come back the next day for a refund. I asked for the manager, Dave is his name, who was ignoring my request and hiding, until he finally showed to tell me that I had to call the next day to get this sorted out. He closed the drive through window and went back inside the store. I drove around to the main entrance to try to get something in writing so I could clam my refund, and the same Manager Dave, threaten to call the police if I did not leave. His language was profane and kept insulting. I am never ever buying from this Jimmy John’s location. Looking at other reviews, it appears this is not the first time for terrible & disrespect service. Read moreThink twice before ordering food from here We ordered a 4 sandwiches, one a giant sized Italian, turkey , and 2 regular made sandwiches . On the giant one we were very specific NO MAYO person is not able to eat Mayo and extra pickles. They charged .37¢ for 3 skinny pickle slices and told me they put 3 slices on a sandwich total of 6. I asked for additional and they then told me they do not do more than 6 slices. The turkey sandwich was to have no mayo and all the trimmings. The other two were regular sandwiches.
When we arrived at our destination and ready to eat. The giant Italian had a super thick layer of mayo and 6 think pickle slices. The turkey had a thick layer of mayo along with mustard.
We tried calling the phone goes to a phone that has a full voice mail.
We were unable to eat, and not able to drive back to the location due to a prior commitment.
Next day we brought to the location and the explained what happened the guy said “they don’t take back food”.
Since they are franchise I called corp and explained I spent $42 on these no go subs and NEVER HEAR BACK
There are too many other places to enjoy delicious quality food…. You lost me and my family...
