Let me start by saying that this is my first review ever. I am not the type that normally writes reviews but todayâs experience at the Target store on Pines and Hiatus was absolutely HORRIFIC and I need it to be heard!!!!!
I went to the store to pick up some back to school items for my children. There was a sign that stated the Cat & Jack jeans were on sale for $10. I picked up 3 pairs from the area the sign was located and headed to the cashier Maria. Maria rang up my items and I noticed the jeans were ringing up for $16.99 so I asked her why. She said I dont know but I know the âJack and Jillâ stuff is not on sale. I told her about the sign and instead of trying to find a solution she decided to get loud and condescending. She went back and forth with me in a manner that felt like a personal attack. I asked for the supervisor and she unprofessionally yelled across the store to the supervisor about the issue. I began walking to the supervisor and she walked next to me while making negative remarks about me out loud and laughing in our faces. This is all happening while my two young daughters are with me!!!
The supervisor then explained that although there is a sign for $10 it was a for a different style of the Cat & Jack jeans and explained to me which ones were on sale.
That was such an easy thing to clarify so that is why I am so appalled and disgusted with the treatment I received today. As a former Target employee of this store AND a loyal customer of this specific store for over 15 years, I KNOW that Mariaâs behavior was not in line with Targetâs core values and I have never had such a terrible experience. My daughters, which most employees in the store know us personally, told me that they felt scared and donât even want to go back to Target anymore.
I have filed a complaint with their guest relations and I will take it to corporate if I have to ! !
My expectation is that Targetâs management team will deal with this manner professionally and appropriately. And hopefully they will also train their employee Maria to be familiar with the brands they offer in that store and how to address signs and...
Read moreBuckle up, folks, because I'm about to take you on a wild ride through the shady world of Target's return process. If you thought navigating a maze blindfolded was tough, wait until you try to return something at Target!
First up, let's talk about their produce. I bought some lettuce that was set to expire faster than a speeding bullet. I was traveling, and by the time I noticed, that lettuce had more wrinkles than a Shar-Pei. So, I tried to return it through the app, but Target demanded I bring the rotten veggies back to the store. Apparently, they wanted to see the evidence of their crime. I had to toss $10 worth of lettuce in the trash, and Target couldn't care less.
But wait, there's more! I also had the pleasure of returning an appliance to Target. It was like playing a game of "Where's Waldo?" with my refund. I had to call customer service five times to track my return. If I hadn't kept the tracking number like a paranoid squirrel hoarding nuts, Target would have "lost" my $150 faster than you can say "corporate negligence."
Now, let's compare this to Amazon Fresh. When they give you bad produce, you just click a few buttons or make a quick call, and boom, you're refunded faster than you can say "fresh veggies." They don't treat you like a criminal mastermind trying to scam them out of a head of lettuce.
In conclusion, Target's return process is shadier than a palm tree on a sunny beach. They make you jump through more hoops than a circus lion just to get your money back. Meanwhile, Amazon Fresh is over here making returns easier than microwaving popcorn. So, unless you enjoy wasting time, gas, and sanity, I'd stick with Amazon Fresh for all your produce needs. Target, it's time to step up your game and stop treating customers like they're trying to pull off the heist of...
Read moreWell they made a big change at this store, it is cleaner, has many, many items. But, and this is a BIG BUT, just take a look at this photo....anything wrong here? I went and explained how this made no sense, $1.29each, yet 4 (in a box) was $5.89. For those without a calculator, that makes each one (same size and flavor) $1.5125 or $.2225 more. So, like many boxes on the shelf, ripped open, guess for the same issue, I took them to the front of the store, and asked if there was a reason, and if I could just open the boxes and purchase them for the $1.29. This is where it gets funny. The attendant pulled them close, like they were some prized pieces and stated that they were not to be opened and I would need to pay the higher price....Well just to let you know, Walmart (not a favorite as well, for other reasons) has now started to carry these same Organic baby packs for $1.26 Each or the boxes for $4.86 or $4.96... Just thought it was time for a wake up MANAGEMENT call for Target, "Does anyone pay attention anymore?" Oh, and I just read Jennifer Valor comment (scroll down and look for the 1 star comments), in the past I have tried to return an item, well actually make good on a payment for something I was charged incorrect amount for, and get this, it was in their favor....but the this was way to much work to figure out and with a bad attitude and not even a care for the company I was asked to just keep it. Ok, but I do believe in karma, what goes around, comes around. Also, this big company out of MN....I see absolutely no responses to any of the comments/ratings, Hmmmmmm Peace, Love and Cherry Garcia...
