I often go to this Taco Bell before seeing movies at the AMC close by. Almost every single time I have gone there, I order online in advance, usually by about 10-30 minutes. Not ONCE has my food been ready at the time I specified, and I usually have to stand at the counter waiting as other people walk in, order at the counter, and get their food before me... even though I ordered IN ADVANCE. Why dont I order at the counter, then? Well because I'm usually in a hurry and hope that they can get it right this time, which they never do. I've learned my lesson about this place: order there and wait for your food, it's faster than ordering online. They also mark your order as "ready" before they even start cooking it. I know, because I see the employees in the back making my food once I've been waiting for 10 minutes, with the text "your order is ready to pick up" on my phone.
As for the food itself, its Taco Bell. It's a pretty good amount of food for not very much money. Nothing out of the ordinary here, except that my food has been cold before, even after watching them make it 10 feet away from me. Cold burritos aren't appetising. Going in with low expectations for food will make it so you aren't disappointed. Drenching it in their (admittedly great) hot sauces seems to do the trick!
Employees look like they would rather be doing anything and be anywhere but where they are, and while I definitely dont expect amazing service at a TB, a single smile from an employee would be nice. I get that it's not the most exciting minimum wage job out there, but sometimes it gets to the point where I feel the employees are annoyed by me just being in the building.
The building itself is clean and seems to be taken care of, and you probably wont have much trouble finding a seat, as theres never really anyone there when I go (usually...
Read moreMy husband & I wanted to try the new Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme that Taco Bell just recently premiered. I ordered separately from him, just in case they got our orders wrong, it would be easier to try to fix 2 separate orders, rather than one large one. And just as expected, everything was wrong. We ordered ahead via the app for in-store pickup. It was empty inside of the store & our orders werenât ready well past the promised pick up time. There was one person ahead of us. On the customer pickup tray, they placed down a sealed bag with no name on it. We asked the workers what the name was on it, & they just shrugged their shoulders and went back to doing whatever they were doing. They then bring out my husbandâs order with 4 items missing, & NO cups for the drinks that he purchased. At this point, Iâm still standing & waiting for my order to come out. I waited an extra 20 min until I decided to open the ânameless bagâ on the pickup tray. It was my order!!!! I cannot express the level of anger that I chose to suppress at that moment. So when we get home about 15 min later, my husband bites into his âcheez-it Crunchwrapâ, only to find out that they gave him a regular old Crunchwrap. He was livid! Imagine that you go through all of that, just to pay for something that you didnât even receive. This was beyond unacceptable! ANYONE READING THISâ-do not order from this location. I havenât even expressed how unsanitary & completely disgusting this place is! This place is not cleaned on a regular basis. The front counter looks like it gets wiped down with dirty mop water. This is a 0 out of 5 stars establishment. Beware, & Donât let...
Read moreI walked into the lobby and stood at the register for approximately 3 minutes as numerous employees made eye contact but nobody acknowledged me. I then asked loudly, "Is someone available to take my order" and several employees giggled but ignored me. I then got the attention of one employee who was cooking and asked if someone could help me at which time the Manager Wesley J. approached me and told me I must use the kiosk to order my food. I explained that I did not want to touch the kiosk at which time he came from behind the counter and escorted me to the kiosk. I intended to tell him my order so he could touch the disgusting screen but he refused. I asked, "If I go through the drive-thru, will someone take my order?" He said yes and I went to the drive thru where my order was taken successfully and without incident. I asked Wesley why just two weeks before my order was taken at the counter and he said the kiosks are there for taking orders! I explained to him they are a help not the only way to take an order and asked him if the store will ever have an actual cashier again. He was clearly frustrated and did not directly answer the question.
This is the second Taco Bell that this has happened to me. If I am unable to read or otherwise unable to use a kiosk am I prohibited from sitting down and enjoying my lunch??
Fortunately, I am blessed but a patron who does not want to touch a disgusting screen for any reason should still have their order taken by staff, especially a Manager!!
I guess the customer is right everywhere...
