Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

Today, I came in with the intention to treat my mother to a belated Mother's Day dinner celebration. On Mother's day, both of us had to work so we weren't able to celebrate, but today since we both had off, we decided to eat at this location because we are both regulars, and this is my mother's favorite restaurant. As soon as we walked to the establishment, we were met with a hostess that lacked both charisma and customer service. She had long, dark, wavy hair, and she had a blank, irritated expression and stared us down as if we were some kind of foreign object. We even witnessed her giving attitude to a coworker. She asked how many we were and took us to a table, but with no will as if someone forced her to do her job. When she took us to a table, we didn't like the area as it was too hot, and preferred a booth. We made this known to her, and she glared at us like we were crazy before saying, "No we don't have any booths at this time. I can move you to a different table, but I cannot give you a booth" with such irritation in her tone despite us asking in a polite manner. Despite this lack of charisma from the hostess, we dismissed it as the possibility of a bad mood from her side, and wanted to give our special day a second chance, so we waited. However we waited a long time, and when the waiter came, we viewed from his nametag that his name was Oscar because he did not even bother introducing himself, he immediately just cut to the chase and asked what we wanted to drink. As we asked for our respective drinks, he suddenly asked if we were already ready to order and gave us an eye roll when we said that we weren't. It is shocking that we had that experience, and I truly believe that we will not be coming to this establishment ever again, the staff that treated us were extremely unprofessional and we felt uncomfortable by the tension whenever they spoke to us. We will be telling all our relatives about this experience and will ask for them to avoid this establishment. I am disappointed, and I believe it's ridiculous to treat customers with such rudeness. Was here for my sons birthday and our night was ruined when I had to take my children to the bathroom and my belongings were stolen. I had an expensive work sweater missing and my drinks were gone as if someone mistakenly started to clear our table. No one was able to locate or help me find my sweater. I still had to pay for the full meal and the supervisor did nothing. No cameras, no security, nothing to ensure things like this don’t happen. I told 3 people we were going to the bathroom and to notify our server which clearly did not happen considering they felt the need to start clearing off our table. The supervisor took my number and walked away with no reassurance.

On top of all else, the restaurant was dirty, as I’m looking for my sweater with my kids help they were finding and picking up old dirty utensils off the floor. The cheese on my pasta was burnt and did not mix well into the pasta.

I am livid at my experience considering I was just trying to enjoy time with my boys.

The waitress was new and beyond friendly but although she tried, none of her other coworkers were actually helpful to the situation either.

I waited for an hour or more as they “investigated” meanwhile everyone is laughing at the bar, cleaning others tables to close the restaurant and go home not even looking for a second. Supervisor included. And to wrap it up, I was rushed out the restaurant after they came to the conclusion that they weren’t gonna do anything about it.

Things is, I’m an understanding person but not a single person other than my waitress showed sympathy. No one offered anything to make up for my experience in THEIR establishment.

I been eating at this location for over 30 years ,today will be last .I visit today for lunch ,arrived at 12.37pm my coworker was already in list for two ,when suddenly people that came after us got seated .Once they had us seated in a single room in back ,young fellow name Matias show up ask us about if we where ready ,we went ahead and place our orders.He came after 9 minutes with the drinks water and diet soda,we ask him about a side of alfredo sauce to dip bread sticks so after 7 minutes he show up with two soups and the order of alfredo sauce (no bread sticks) we ask him and he said"bread sticks are on the oven" this guy literally disapear .After finally he got back ,came with the food ,ask him again about bread sticks ,he laughed and said"we have a big table and they took all bread sticks" Also he never brought silverware , infuriating my coworker he finally said"here take the side of alfredo since you're not gonna bring the bread sticks " waiter replied"don't worry i will removed from bill" we waited no Kidding 14 minutes For check and came with 4 bread sticks I stood up and enough it's enough.Requested my check and this guy gave me a check charging the side of alfredo and 2 soft drink which we only Had 1 soft drink .Manager show up corrected check ,no sorry no worries from manager ,i paid bill i left Matias no tip (i understand we all need to work but cheap shots and bad manners will not be entertained by me, FOLKS DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY TO BAD MANAGERS AND WAITERS!NEVER AGAIN PS OLIVE GARDEN DO...
