My husband and I were carrier shopping and went to the AT&T store located on 11380 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, FL on 8/28 to inquire about buying two new phones and getting a plan.The salesperson, Lori, deceived us by telling us we were eligible for a BOGO promotion that we later discovered we weren't eligible for because we don't have Direct TV, only U-verse. The paperwork didn't reflect the BOGO so I canceled mid-sale. I confirmed the cancellation of the transaction with an AT&T rep over the phone PRIOR to leaving the AT&T store. We never bought a phone or started a plan, and actually bought new phones and continued our plan with T-Mobile on 8/28 an hour or so later, yet AT&T sent me a bill for $784.71! I tried to contact someone at the AT&T store several times to straighten this out, but no one ever answered the phone. I called the AT&T 800 number on September 30 and was advised by Amber that she saw that it should have been canceled and promised that the charges would be reversed by October 4. However, on October 4, I received an e-mail from AT&T with yet another invoice for $784.71! After waiting 20 mins, an guy named Erreal or sth. came to me and "help" me, no greeting and no shaking hands. I thought he just treated people like this. I explained to him and he said he couldn't do that for me. I asked why, he answered because he can not. What hell is this answer! And told me I need to call the customer service. Read moreI Purchased the I-Phone 13 Pro from this location and started encountering issues with my new phone after 1 week. When placing the phone on speaker or talking on FaceTime, it cuts in and out and the person on the other end of the phone is unable to hear me clearly. I contacted AT&T (611) and explained to the AT&T representative that issue that I have been encountering. The rep advised me to go into the store and simply explain the situation to the store rep. I went into the store on Friday 6/24/2022 around 10:30am. I spoke with Carlos who basically didn’t even accept my identification and advised me that I would have to now go into an Apple store to exchange the phone. I tried explaining to Carlos that my phone is new and that I still fell under the 14 day period. Carlos continued to shake his head and said “ No you need to go to Apple. Only Apple can issue a new phone or do the exchange”. Carlos proceeded to take the next customer while I stood in the store puzzled and disappointed.
