We finally made it to this place!! I have been excited to try the food here especially since they have vegetarian options. Walking up to the place, there was outdoor seating and some indoor. The restaurant looked like a great hang out/date place. I'm glad we walked because parking seems like it might be hard to find around there. We ordered the chips salsa/queso and tacos and burrito. The staff was great even after our order was wrong, she quickly replaced it. We asked to try the bottle sauces which I guess if you ask you can get. The ambience was nice, the staff is great, and for the amount of food you get the price is awesome. I am all about flavor and spice...it was good but not one of my favorite places. I probably need to try something different. If you are used to getting nice warm queso, this is not the place either!! I can tell you the margaritas on people's tables looked delicious tho!

Big Juan Flying Burrito fan since I like their food and drinks at NOLA locations very muchSo excited to see their location in Pensacola so we went. Ambience was inviting with outdoor seating option. Everything went down hill from that point. We got seated and NO one came to say hi or take our drink orders for good 10-12 mins. Then we had to waive at someone to get their attention and she was oh let me take your drink order. Margarita was not made correctly; reposado tequila was requested but it was made with blanco. Queso was not warm and needed more salt at the minimum. Food took long to come (this was not during busy time; we went Wednesday evening after 7.45 pm. They close at 9). Flavor was lacking; some plates are Luke warm so probably sitting in the kitchen for some time. This experience really spoiled our likelihood of going back to their restaurants in NOLA. ☹️

The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was very good. We ordered the trio appetizer with the chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. We also ordered a burrito along with a bloody marry. Every thing was delicious and our waitress was on point with everything including her suggestions of what to order. They only received 3 stars though because they have brought politics into the establishment by advertising gay pride stickers, BLM stickers and save the kids not the guns stickers. I have nothing against these movements but I see enough of it throughout everyday life that when I go out to eat I don’t want to see it and shouldn’t have to, an establishment should definitely remain neutral when it come to any type of movement support in my opinion.

Had a group of friends whom decided to come here to treat ourselves to food. Looked up this place and decided to be here... They had stale chips and their guacamole was flavorless we had to add tons of salt and lemon to at least provide more flavor. My food came it was good I ordered the pulled pork quesadilla, the rice was ok. It felt like it was chilling in a pot for hours so it was stiff grains of rice.

Overall I was satisfied cause I was easy going. Paid left a tip my friends did besides 1

The waiter grabs our plates while we were still seated and still eating. Drops the chips and guacamole on the table. Proceeds to say sorry and picks it up with her bare hands.... why couldn't she wait until we left? Idk why

Another waiter comes to our table asking the 1 person whom didn't tip if "her server was good? Cause you didn't leave a tip" My friend answers "my server is fine I just don't tip" the response was "Oh you just don't tip? Ok gotcha" This same waiter then proceeds to give the table a side eye throughout the conversation we were having. Apparently the tips me and my other party members gave wasn't enough. It made me wish I gave no tip instead. (That's how uncomfortable it felt)

Brief minutes go by with our conversation the same waiter whom was giving us a side eye comes up and tells the same person whom didn't tip "outside drinks aren't allowed" my friend responds "alright I'll just put it away" the lady then proceeds to take the drink saying "I'll just throw it away for you" grabs her drink from her hand slams the drink in the garbage can and proceeds to still look at the table with the same passive aggressiveness she was delivering to us.

At that point I really wanted to say something. But we would rather not be as petty as they were with my group.

Even then. 4 out of 5 people tipped? Was our tip not enough? Did a 3$ extra tip really ruin the day for your waiters? I would NOT recommend this place. There is petty hostility and the food isn't even that good. I highly regret my decision to tip. I wish I can give a 0 star. Horrible attitude for something so trivial. It wasn't directed to me. But involving my friend group? Drew the line. I hope this...

The food here is absolutely delicious, the only issue is lack of consistency. Most of the time we go the food is full of flavor but then there’s been 3 times now that the flavor was lacking, the cheese sauce was watered down and the guacamole was brown, when I asked about the guacamole one time I was told that they make it fresh but don’t ditch it till they pass it out regardless of how not fresh it is.. that really kind of disturbed me because it’s basically saying if u don’t come at the right time then you are just out of luck.

Also within the last two months I had two experiences where the waitress was just super slow and it seemed intentional even though she was sweet. One night we went and there was SEVERAL open tables but the hostess was still telling everyone that it would be an hour wait and when multiple ppl asked she said it was bc of how busy they were even though we could clearly see all the empty tables.

Then another time we went during the middle Or the day when it was really slow thinking that we just better not go during busy times, this time we sat out side for 15 mins till I finally went in and asked the bartender if we could get our drinks atleast , the bartender was super sweet and went to ask the waitress our drinks who replied she didn’t know bc she was waiting to see if this group was coming. At this point the bartender just got our drinks for us and kindly asked if we wanted anything else at which time she so kindly took our appetizer order and even brought it all before the waitress finally came for the first time and took our order. After getting our food we asked for salad dressing and silverware that she never brought. We finally went in and got our own silverware and salad dressing from the bartender.

As much as I like the food there, these past couple experiences are definitely shying away, especially when on one of the slowest times turned into two hours just bc of a slow waitress combined w the mindset on giving customers non fresh guac. I hope it Gets better so we can go back again...

I’m Mexican, so I’m probably being a little harsh in that this is not really a Mexican restaurant. I’m Mexican-American, 1st gen., so please don’t argue with me… I make everything into a taco. The chips and salsa are not free…ding a star. We paid for chips n salsa…chips were salsa was meh, although it was fresh. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, rice and refried beans. I swear, it was jerk chicken in the enchiladas and it was so hot I couldn’t finish 1.5 enchiladas. No lettuce was on my plate, just a dollop of sour cream and some melted cheese. I ate most of the rice and about half of the beans… it was just ok. Not even considered taking leftovers home.

my friend ordered the cheese enchiladas with red sauce and black beans and rice. She said the cheese wasn’t even fully melted and it seemed like shredded cheese, not creamy what she was expecting. She ate mostly the black beans and rice and about half of the enchiladas.

Two other friends ordered a chicken burrito and steak tacos. The steak tacos were plain…no lettuce, no cheese, nothing. The chicken burrito was ok until she had a piece that was like jerk chicken and caught her by surprise and tried to put out the flames with sour cream from someone else’s plate.

We had an early dinner, got there about 5:30pm, big rush about 6:00 hit, so then It was super busy, with only 2 waitresses and just slow to responding to us. Overall, just meh. We won’t be back and just can’t recommend it if you’re looking for authentic. This is definitely not it. I hate leaving bad reviews, but just meh. Especially for spending $25, I...
