I shop at LeeLee's market on occasion and when I have, I have eaten at this restaurant inside the marketplace. I believe in supporting small businesses but the food is subpar and the service is sad. The staff are wasting a great opportunity to leverage the fresh ingredients of the market. It should be a slam dunk success but the staff is more interested in chatting in the back than in paying attention to the customer. I've been ignored even though I try to get their attention. The food was cold. The fry oil was rancid. The place smelled stale. The food is edible but only if you're really hungry and can overlook the lack of grace in the staff. If I were the owner of this restaurant, I would spend more time finding workers who respect how easy it would be to hit a homerun. With a clean and sanitary front of house and an attentive staff, the kitchen will be busy making the money. Right now, it seems like nobody cares. Just barely going through the motions. It would be worth the price if they...
Read moreBeing a frequent shopper of Lee Lee Supermarket but first trying this Pho restaurant. Didn’t have much high expectations in the beginning since many supermarkets attached often take advantage of their premium location without much incentives to keep high standards on food’s taste or price. BUT I was totally wrong! We accidentally discovered two delicious dishes we never tried in a Pho restaurant. We ordered number 94 and 100 on the very last page of the menu. It surprised all of us with the light, no grease, tasty Asian dishes. Combination between different veggies and meats or seafood are plenty to choose first. Last but not least, their Pho is very delicious and above most Pho restaurants I tried in Phoenix, and its price is very competitive. I ordered #2 Pho with most meat options. It just costs $12 with a default large size bowl. Many Pho options are below $10. Definitely a go-to place to whoever loves exploring interesting...
Read moreSince they reopened, the food quality has jumped up quite a bit. My pho had just the right amount of meat in it, at least compared to every other place we have been in the west valley. I could have gone for just a little more meat in the vermicelli I had on our second visit, but if both cases the prices were very reasonable.
What's the point of getting more meat at a higher price some place where I don't even like the food? The service wasn't good or bad, but we got our food in a timely manner. It's not some place you might go for a special occasion, but if you're hungry for good Vietnamese food in the west valley, this is the place...
