Had to go over to the Gnu's Hog Ranch where Wilber Stimpickit breeds Wildebeest and Warthogs for a club in Texas, and drop off a Wigglypop Dowhopper that he'll be needing come spring when the Wildebeests drop their calves. He was so pleased to get the thing he bought me lunch! Only one place, he says is worth stopping at for a sandwich in Petaluma, and that's Lucchesi's Delicatessen. It's a 5 star joint, the best in Sonoma county, Petaluma for sure. ☆☆☆☆☆

If you're up for a good sandwich this is the spot their sandwiches are delicious and the clam chowder very tasty, the place is very clean and the service is great, I'll go again when I'm on the area for lunch time

A Petaluma local favorite, Lucchesi's has been around for years selling sandwiches, sides, chips, drinks, and bagel dogs. I'm one to try to support the independent eateries like this one rather than one of the big chains like Subway and Jersey Mike's. Good sandwiches overall, my $15 Roast Beef and cheese with peppers was hot, spicy, and tasty. It could've had a little bit more of that juicy, tender, succulent beef...but the soft sourdough baguette was fresh and warm. Seemed a pricy for what I got, but still satisfying. My local Petaluma friends love this place, I just like it. No inside seating, just a few tables outside. Folks were...
