THEIR WAITRESS WAS ARGUING WITH ME!!
This review is based on my experience today. Today I went with my family, just after brunch ended. We waited a while to order because our waitress Cheridan, tended to everyone around us BUT us. I flagged her down to order food and she told us we’d have to wait 10 minutes to order as the Chef was changing over the menu. After ordering, one dish came out wrong and the other was inedible. Then the salmon on my salad was so over cooked it was hard and we couldn’t finish it. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said she would mention it to the chef. To my surprise, she hadn’t taken it off of our bill. So I nicely asked if we could talk to someone about taking it off our bill. She immediately told us that they would not take it off the bill and that she “just wanted to tell us what they would tell us”. I told her I still wanted to talk to someone as it was unfair to pay for food that we couldn’t eat. She then said that the way it was cooked is the way they make it and if we wanted it differently we should have asked for medium well. I told her that she never told us there were options and she said there wasn’t, that we should’ve just known to ask. She then went to get the owner, who was on a call and couldn’t come to speak with us. Eventually the salmon was taken off but I was very dissatisfied by my experience with the waitress and even more disappointed that no management or the owner was there to apologize for the way we were treated by the waitress. I will not be patronizing this establishment any more if the waitresses argue with you...
Read moreThis was me and my boyfriend's second time at Bridget Foy's! We really wanted to love this place, but it fell short- again. My boyfriend and I went in for a happy hour and got seated right away (shout out to the hosts- they were hilarious).
The first time we went to Bridget Foy's we saw a chalk sign for Happy Hour above the bar that had $7 burgers- what a steal! Hell yeah!
So naturally, my boyfriend and I came back to try the $7 burger at Happy Hour. Little did we know it was an outdated chalk sign. When we ordered the burger, the waitress came back to us a few minutes later and asked if we ordered a veggie burger and we said "no, the burger on the menu above the bar!". She sighed and said it was an outdated sign but "OK" we can have the burgers, we said "thank you!".
The burgers that came out were the most sad burgers we've seen. The patties themselves were a little bigger than a slider burger and it came with lettuce, tomato, and a nice bun. It was extremely mid. Under-seasoned. $7 for basically one slider? In this economy- I get it. But I wish she just told us it wasn't on the menu.
I will say- the fries were DELICIOUS though!
So, TLDR, I wish the waitress just told us the burger wasn't on the happy hour menu and didn't semi-ignore us or give us attitude after the burgers got delivered to the table.
The fries were delicious, the hosts were awesome and funny, the vibes were great, and the decorations/style of this restaurant is stunning. Maybe happy hour just wasn't our vibe? Maybe a simple redirection would have been fine instead of a petty...
Read moreso I came to bridget Foy‘s for the first time today expecting mac & cheese. Unfortunately, their hood was broken. this was a small issue as they did not tell us at the door that their menu would be extremely shortened. I went to order my $14 wings and asked if I could have all flats. They told me the answer was no which I was OK with obviously, but when I received my wings, I only received four drumsticks. me and two friends went to order today. two of us got the same thing, the buffalo wings, and one of us got a pork sandwich. So when I got my wings, they came out about five minutes after we ordered, they were dry for buffalo and had no flats. Personally, I believe that this is a small amount of wings to pay for $14. my friend got her wings about 15 minutes later and she got seven wings that were covered in sauce. She also got a variety of drumsticks and flat wings. She also got three pieces of celery while I got one. once I made this problem aware to the server who i will call Leni because I don’t like name dropping in serious matters like this (Robert S), he said that he would bring me more wings right away. After I was confused, Leni came back and told me that it was like a barbecue and whatever’s done first will come out first. he then assumed that we would share, even though I had already made it very clear that we were having separate checks. in the end, he never did bring me my wings. Leni offered me more wings, and I said yes, assuming that he would bring me more...
