I went to this establishment a couple of months ago. I had ordered delivery from this location one other time and the food was good so I made another visit but in-person.
I wound up tipping the staff $200 on a to-go order. After verifying that the tip was then indeed correct. The manager (or owner) gave me a $25 gift card "diner for two".
Today I returned to use the gift card with a friend. When we arrived I had asked that same gentleman to verify how much was on it. I explained that my wallet had gotten wet and so the card with the writing on it was a little smudged but the sleeve it was in still read $25.
He then proceeds to say, that the machine is down so he can't check. Then he says the card that I have is old. I show him the card and he says it was $20. To which I said but the sleeve says $25. "I would have to go to the office to check and I can't right now because I'm busy". (There were only 3 tables including ours).
At the end of our meal this man decided to pull me aside and argue to me that it had already been used when I know it had not.
I asked if he remember me, "I was here months ago. You gave me this gift card because I tipped y'all $200 on a to-go order."
"I don't remember, next time I will not take." "So, how did the $25 come off the gift card if it wasn't there ? "
"No problem. Just go." As he tries to shoo me out the door into the cold rain.
This is how you treat the person you "kindly" gave a gift card to after tipping $200 on to go. But you don't remember what she looks like ? Then decide to no be able to check the card, said you didn't have time to, you said it was an old card but then had to get the last word in after our dinner ?
The service is horrible and they do not know how to treat people who actually look out for their staff and business.

Read moreTHE WORST INDIAN FOOD I EVER HAD AND CERTAINLY I WILL REMEMBER THIS TRAUMA THROUGHOUT MY LIFE.
As someone who grew up in Delhi and Lucknow, the cities famous for its food and has roots in food and hospitality sectors since generations, i can say the food is no where in the meta-universe of Indian food.
Tandoori items being served with grilled cucumber, carrots, broccolis and celery??? A part of Punjabi died in me on that day. I started feeling homesick.
Even after ordering spicy food, the flavors were bland, and out of proportion. It's good only for someone who doesn't have any clue about indian cuisines at all.
IF YOU ARE AN INDIAN NATIONAL AND WANNA DINE, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU BETTER FIND SOME OTHER PLACE.
NOTE: i left the dinner and stepped out because i couldn't bear it. I was not searching for "delhi meal" because that's something which does not exists, just like "chicken curry". I have extensive experience in production of food and organizing events confining to dhaba, cloud kitchen and fine dine in Delhi and Lucknow which covers north indian, Mughlai, Rajasthani, tibetan and indo chinese cuisines. The only decent place that i could find in Pennsylvania is House of biryanis and kebabs in Norristown. They do justice to the recipe. The real indian food woth spice level...
