IHOP — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Look I am going to give all the complainers some advice on this IHOP..

1. this IHOP is on one of the busies roads in this section of Philly so yes it is going to be crowded!! 2)yes there are going to be inexperienced workers on the floor as high school kids and current college students will get work there as its in an area surrounded by schools.. And yes obviously for most of these students this is their first job and could be a little slow at it as they are basically trained while on the floor for the first week on how to do everything.. And yes service can still be slow as there is usually always someone being trained while your there which would mean one less server, busboy/busgirl, waitress/waiter and etc so please understand 3)yes the location can be dirty, have you not seen the area around the eatery? But the workers try their best to get it straightened up
2. If your server has an attitude don't sit there and criticize them, don't berate them in reviews like they can't easily pull it up.. Like I understand your concerns with a worker who just won't smile but hell do you know what they're going through at home?? NO!
3. Don't blame the entire location on your bad experience as there are workers who don't stand at the front, they don't cook, carry 50lb tray filled with food and etc.. Because behind them there are the diswashers, the busboys/busgirls who are doing their best along with the rest even if they don't get...

This is the worst IHOP ever....it seems online and in-store! I am TOTALLY dissatisfied with my order through Uber Eats AND the way the manager "SERD" spoke with me over the phone. The food looked like they pulled it out of the trash and threw it in a container. The portion was skimpy except- the wild rice that could've fed three people....but what about my protein....where is it? where's my veggie? as I'm scrambling through rice! This was not even good enough to serve to an animal! The order was not correct and the manager argued back and forth with me about the order that was incorrect....making excuses for the cooks. Never once did he try to be civil and rectify the problem. I have emailed complaints and noone has gotten back to me so the apologies they can keep! This is so frustrating! These restaurants proudly take your money but "CRICKETS" when you reach out to them with a complaint! I usually go to Jenkintown's IHOP....guess I better go back there. This experience really turned me away from any IHOP! You owners should be ashamed because I know your receiving these complaints, your hiring nasty people and keeping them in these positions even after complaints and losing business/money! I'll never return back to that location so please don't reach out asking do I want a "remake"!! I want my "REFUND" that is owed to me!! After reading the comments, this location needs...

Avoid this place!!!! I went with my boyfriend and daughter and when we walked in the place was empty. I took it as a good sign but nope it was a bad sign. People purposely don’t come here because of how bad it is. Anyways, we sit down and I sat in syrup that was left on the seat. I cleaned it up and then the waiter came up to us to take our order. This kid had to be in his mid twenties his shirt was wide open exposing his greasy hair chest, now thinking about it he was greasy all over or just sweaty. He kept staring at me the whole time and that it made my boyfriend uncomfortable. We ordered our food and no lie exactly 3 mins the food came out. How the hell is that possible!!!!???? The food must have been pre-made and sitting under a warming hood. We ordered so much food so the food coming out in 3 mins was sketchy. It takes 3 mins to melt butter in a skillet so I don’t understand how they did it so fast. After we got our food the same waiter kept coming up for random stuff or would just come up to smile. I decided to take our food to go because it was feeling weird. Maybe the waiter was happy to see a customer that’s why he came off as over bearing, I don’t know. I paid and got my receipt only to see that out of the 8 things we ordered I was only charged for 2 things. I don’t know what that was about but thanks I guess. I’ll...
