"Farina Di Vita," the newest addition to Philadelphia's sandwich scene, offers a delightful culinary experience that caters to the diverse palate of sandwich enthusiasts. One of their standout creations is "the Gavon" sandwich, a flavorful masterpiece that combines succulent chicken cutlets, tender broccoli rabe, sharp provolone, and roasted red peppers. This amalgamation of ingredients creates a symphony of tastes and textures, with the chicken providing a savory base, the broccoli rabe adding a touch of earthiness, the sharp provolone contributing a bold and tangy kick, and the roasted red peppers infusing a sweet and smoky note. The harmony of these elements is further elevated by the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The star power doesn't stop there; enter "the Medigan" sandwich, a delightful option that showcases the simplicity of a well-executed classic. This sandwich features impeccably seasoned chicken cutlets paired with a medley of cheese, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and the crunch of onions. The combination of these familiar ingredients is a testament to Farina Di Vita's mastery in crafting sandwiches that balance tradition and innovation.

What truly sets Farina Di Vita apart is the foundation of their creations—the delicious fresh seeded rolls that cradle these delectable fillings. These rolls, baked to perfection, are a testament to the commitment to quality that defines the establishment. Each bite is a harmonious marriage of the sandwich's contents and the soft-yet-substantial embrace of the roll.

Equally noteworthy is the warmth and hospitality exuded by the staff. The friendly and attentive service at Farina Di Vita enhances the overall dining experience, making patrons feel not just like customers but welcomed guests. The staff's passion for their craft is evident, as they eagerly assist in navigating the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that every visit is a memorable one.

In conclusion, Farina Di Vita emerges as a standout sandwich haven in Philadelphia, with "the Gavon" and "the Medigan" as prime examples of their culinary prowess. The combination of fresh, quality ingredients, expertly crafted seeded rolls, and a staff dedicated to providing excellent service makes Farina Di Vita a must-visit for sandwich aficionados seeking a memorable...

I spent about $29 (including a $2–3 tip) and tried three different sandwiches from Farina Di Vita. Overall, the quality is high, the flavors are thoughtful, and the attention to ingredients stands out.

Spicy Augustine (no pepper seeds): Small Easily the best of the three. Great balance of heat and flavor, and the quality of the meats and cheese really comes through. Definitely recommend this one.

The Gavone Cutlet: Small A solid sandwich. The chicken filet was moist and tender, and the roasted peppers added a nice layer of flavor without making the sandwich soggy. I appreciated that they chopped the broccoli rabe into manageable pieces, a small detail that shows they care about the eating experience. I just wish I had asked for extra rabe, since I like a generous bite of greens.

Patsy & Tito’s: Small This one was the weakest for me. Not a bad sandwich by any means, but it didn’t stand out. It felt like they were trying to do something interesting, but the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark.

The guys behind the counter were friendly, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Based on this visit, I’d rate Farina Di Vita a 4.5 out of 5(can’t on here so gave them a 5). One sandwich was above average, one was good, and one fell short; but overall, definitely worth checking out if you’re into hoagies with real...

The first thing to know when you're ordering a sandwich here is that they are HEFTY. Easily each sandwich can be two meals, which was an unexpected surprise!

We ordered two sandwiches. I am always down for a pesto sauce so my favorite was the Michelina. The bread was truly the highlight: it was so fresh and served the pesto well. The cheese was also extraordinarily fresh so overall just a great sandwich.

We also ordered the Bronco, which is a chicken cutlet sandwich with burrata because we will probably never say no to burrata. This was good, I'm overall not such a fan of chicken cutlet but I think it was executed well. This one is messy, so grab some napkins.

The biggest drawback to this nice little shop is the wait. We were told about 20 minutes and it was probably closer to 30. There was maybe one other pair of people in the shop so not sure if the holdup was just a lot of pre-ordered sandwiches, which in retrospect is what is the easier thing to do. They don't have seating but about a block away is a really lovely park with...

Farina just does it right Quality first- 10 - cutlets - cold cuts - rolls FN aced it Rule of thumb for me, order minimum two sandwiches before a review. I’m on 3 and will be back for more. Wish they had more of a cutlet selection, but who cares. Make you’re own if you don’t prefer their current selections. Fresh as a MFer, each time I’ve had. Haven’t had a hoag yet, so can’t comment/review on that. Only cold cuts + cutlet Angelo’s? You’re better off getting Joel to admit he’s a reason for a continuous 2nd round knock out over getting a cutlet from them. Come here if you’re in this area, Lil Nicks right behind Davina (only based on my location) Customer service: Top notch, dealt with three separate employees each time, they all have what it takes CS wise. Knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly hospitable. Keep doing what you’re doing, Davina I’ll spread the word because it’s warranted. They also make homemade pasta sauces, I haven’t dabbled yet but have tried their samples. Straight cash

The sandwiches are the real deal. Got there around 2pm today (Sunday) just a few people ahead of me in line. Ordered the spicy Augustine and the Damien. Originally was told they were out of cutlets, but the woman taking orders found me outside while I was waiting and said they had enough cutlets to make me one (I guess the guy making sandwiches didn’t know if he had enough since he was doing phone orders and call ahead orders as well). Great meat to bread ratio on both sandwiches. The Augustine was slightly spicy but delicious. And the Damien was out of this world delicious - the tang of the pepper cuts through the heaviness of the sandwich, which makes for a perfect bite. I came to Philly on a sandwich tour and this by far was my favorite on this trip. Unfortunately they’re closed on Monday or I’d make another visit before my flight home. Very fair prices as well with both sandwiches at $8 plus tax. Tip: get there early so you don’t run the risk of them running out of cutlets
