Lazos Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

WORTH THE READ SERVICE IS ABSURDLY TERRIBLE Worst service ever. I ordered from them through GrubHub to my 18-story office building. I received a call that my food was downstairs. I came down and waited. No one was there. I come back upstairs and call them. The deliveryman did not verify who he was delivering to and gave my food to one of the other 2,500+ people who work in this building. The person on the phone suggested that I try and find who it was and asked "What do you want me to do?" The woman with the wrong food is on the phone and offers to just switch the food. I hang up I give the woman her money but realize the food is now lukewarm and it has been opened and picked over. I call GrubHub and explain, informing them that I do not want more food, just my money back. The store refuses and offers to send more food which I declined. They send it anyway and ask for the food I received earlier back. They send more food but leave before I have a chance to exchange it. Apparently they think you can make it from the 14th floor to ground level in less than 5 minutes in a huge office building swarming with people. I call back and explain that it is now two hours later and I want my money back. They explain that it is not my fault, I do not want food, I want my money. They explain that it is not there fault, that I should have been downstairs immediately and that I was playing games. Update May 4th 2022...NO better 🤦🏼‍♀️ I decided to give them another try after months, but it was a mistake!!! I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla (comes with onions & peppers & fries). The tortilla was beyond soggy & barely cooked. It also had some kind of sauce on it which I didn't order. I called them after it was delivered but there was no answer!!! Never again!! They clearly rushed my food & didn't even pay attention. Sadly, it's now a ratchet pizza place up charging for food that is nasty!!! They used to be good, but they've gone down hill in the past year or so!!!

This place has been a regular for me, I've ordered from here many times over the past couple years with no complaints til tonight. Not only did they recently just double their delivery fee (didn't know til tonight), but the portions got smaller. I ordered a small cheesesteak stromboli, which has always been enough for two, but tonight it was just enough for one person. I called them immediately after looking at it & after speaking with two people, they said the small has always been for one person (lies), but if I didn't touch the one they delivered (which I didn't) they would send a large if I gave it back (I did). This is a no-nonsense, friendly and delicious pizza joint. Over the years I've been eating food regularly from Lazos, I've come to not just enjoy the service of the people there, but to truly love it. This store makes the entire city a better place.

The store is in a corner lot, with seating for about a dozen people comfortably. Natural north-facing sunlight comes pouring in through the windows, making this an enjoyable place to stop and read while you have a bite.

The food is always served crispy and hot.Their spanish fries and mega fries live up to their local reputation. For a cool lunch, I recommend their tuna wrap, which is one of the freshest in the city.

I live four blocks from lazos (used to live only 2), so I mostly walk over and get my food. However, all the delivery drivers are very friendly so I will order delivery anyway on a lazy weekend.
