Located in the city's historic Queen Village section, "the Gritz" is a must if you want a real high quality meal without breaking the budget. It's perfect for couples, families, kids, first dates, or weekend brunch. The Gritz is a small, unpretentious, and moderately priced neighborhood restaurant with a great bar. It's more cocktail than beer oriented although there are plenty of choices for suds lovers, too, and most of the brands are local. Try the Pork Italiano - one of the best sandwiches I've ever had - and their sweet and sour brisket platter with potato croquettes is sublime. Really fine fries as well. Great burgers, salads, crab cakes. It's all good! I noted that the price range was $20 to $30 per person, but my wife and I have gotten out of there for $44 with a beer before tip. Cheap in Philly these days, especially for such high quality food. Service is quick and friendly and the server never asks if you've dined there before. Open for dinner from 4 pm, no lunch so far gritzplace.com

All i can say is….incredible vibes and incredible service. The drinks continue flowing and the food is amazing. To start the Caesar salad is super clean and refreshing. In addition, the coconut shrimp and buffalo wings are a must cop for starters. And of course if you are a burger person, the Gritz Burger is a must. I personally like cheddar cheese so i swooped out the Gorgonzola for a more comfort vibe. And lastly, if you are a sweet tooth like me…you can’t go wrong with the bread pudding or…to bring you back to your child hood memories with a nice ice cream sandwich!!!!!! If you want a clean date night out in Queens Village….S Gritz Public House is the place to go! 10/10

Can only speak to the late night experience, but this place was a real midnight oasis. Full points for: - an overwhelmingly soothing vibe - bar patrons were chill, service was the right pace, lighting was not too dark or bright. I felt like I was in a 24 hour lofi livestream. - My server, Ell, was pleasant, charming, and she made me fresh coffee. She was cool. - Startlingly nice restrooms. See photos. Only gripe was I that I went out of my way to come here to get bread pudding, and it was fairly unremarkable. But small in the grand scheme of things. I'll be back another late night in town, and maybe I'll actually order food.
