So I just want to say, those chefs are soo on point with all their food! The food was fantastic!!! It reminded me of going there 20 years ago with my family, except even better than that. The fried pickles were amazing, as was the loaded potato. Me and my wife ordered the guacamole burger for our dinner and they came out perfect. We asked for medium and medium rare. My wifes burger was perfectly pink all the way through and mine had a little in the center. All the food was incredible and I just want to give them a shout out. The waitress we got "tammy" specifically, Was "THE WORST" waitress I've ever had. I get that she was busy but the way we were treated was unacceptable. She was rude from the moment she walked up to us. I honestly wanted the bus boy as a waiter. At least he was polite and very friendly. Tammy seemed to have some sort of problem with us which I didn't understand because we were very polite the whole time. She walked up to the table and said "let me have it." It took me a second to reel back from her response so I kinda fumbled over my words and when I did. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and sat down looking really annoyed. So I rushed and gave her my order in under a minute then she says "What else do you want" so my wife said she wanted some ranch. Tammy replies with "i guess" she walked away without saying anything. At this point I was starting to get really annoyed. So another waiter came with the food and the ranch and walked away. We did not see her for like 15 more minutes after that and I needed a refill to. But she stormed off without even giving me a chance. And while we are being obviously ignored by her I see her being super friendly and nice to all the other customers around with a way better attitude than she was giving us. She ignored us throughout our entire meal. We even had to get the attention of other wait staff to help us out. We got the order for drinks from anotherwaiter then Tammy came to our table with the drinks and walked away.she then ignored us for another 20 minutes while we sat there waiting for her to return. Then she finally shows up and just drops off our check and walks away. At this point I'm just looking at my wife and she's looking at me and we are thinking "what the heck!"then she swings back around and I say " could I also get a box for my food and 2 malts." Because I never asked for the check and I was not done ordering. She looks at me with the most serious face and says "no." My wife shot her a dirty look as did I and she said "I'm just joking." Then she left and came back another 10 minute later with our malts and walked away. Without even bringing me my box. We did not see her the rest of the night. We had to flag down another waitress so we could get our check because at this point we had already been there for almost 2 hours and we wanted to go. So I payed at the register and, I'm kind of ashamed but, this is the very first time In my life that I've...

The best diner experience of my life — thanks to Tammy and Desma (I hope I got that name right. She is very unique!!)

I don’t usually write reviews, but I absolutely had to after my visit here for the 3rd time. Two servers — Tammy and Desma— made this not just a great meal, but a genuinely uplifting experience.

Both of them were nothing short of phenomenal. They moved with speed and purpose like I’ve never seen — hands down the fastest, most efficient servers I’ve ever witnessed. And somehow, while juggling a packed diner and running nonstop, they were still incredibly kind, calm, and full of good energy.

Tammy had this warm, grounded energy that made you feel like family. Desmond brought an easy charm and hustle that’s rare to see these days. They both went above and beyond for everyone, not just my table. You could tell they care — and not just about the job, but about the people they’re serving.

They’re not just good servers — they’re beautiful human beings doing excellent work in a tough environment. They deserve recognition, respect, and a big raise if the universe is fair.

If you’re lucky enough to be served by Tammy or Desmond, consider it a gift. They made my day — and honestly, my week. I cant wait to go back.

Tammy is THE BEST IN THE WEST and Desma is THE WAITRESS WITH A SMILE THAT IMPRESSED.

Do yourself a favor and check out this joint late at night after the birds...

Best breakfast I've had in AZ since moving back from California! Husband took me here after having some really good Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast at this place and so worth the drive we made from Tempe! Ordered the Country Breakfast for $15, came with hash browns (super good, not too greasy and cooked light as I requested) scrambled eggs and 2 biscuits with gravy (so moist and very good gravy) with sausage or bacon (I chose sausage links and they were so flavorful and juicy)! I tried my husband's CFS (I can understand why he ordered it again!) I'm not a big chicken fried steak fan but even I would consider ordering this on their menu. It was $15 and comes with 2 eggs, hash browns, and a choice of toast, pancake, or biscuit. He ordered the pancake plus two more! We shared all of it, and the pancakes tasted like actual buttermilk pancakes, rich but not too sweet...could not help but finish them. Iced tea plus the meal was $42 after tax, but before tip. So worth it and highly recommend! Place is small but 50's diner decor, very friendly and quick service, with outdoor seating. They are 24 hours, with a very appealing lunch and dinner menu too! I'd love to try so much more, but passing up that breakfast on our next visit will be very hard to do! We found our favorite breakfast...
