The staff was friendly and welcoming. I paid for a gel pedicure and gel manicure through ClassPass ($64 combined = 33 points on ClassPass) - however I only needed a gel pedicure as I had gotten a manicure less than a week ago at another salon. They said I could come back next time for the gel manicure which I thought was nice because you can only book for the mani/pedi combination.
So it ended up costing me more for JUST the gel pedicure ($72) and I had to pay the difference. Which makes no sense because I was supposed to have a gel manicure as well. I didn’t have time to argue or fuss over $8 extra. But the main reason I used ClassPass to begin with was so that my appointment was already paid for in full before I arrived. Maybe this shouldn’t be used for nail salons and just strictly for fitness classes. That was malarkey. I didn’t even get a manicure. How did this happen?
In response to Ping’s reply, I did not have a break down for about what costs what when I paid in advance. It was not explained to me by a ClassPass consult, nor did anyone tell me that a “Gel Manicure & Pedicure” really meant “just a Gel Manicure and a Regular Pedicure”. Whoever is in charge of checking in clients who book and pay in advance should fill them in on what they’re actually receiving. Despite the issues with communication, when I first arrived there was a client complaining about having her nails filed down for acrylics at a manicure table when she asked for gel. So there’s a slue of confusion and lack of communication going on here at this nail salon. I will not be returning and will not recommend this...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE, ESPECIALLY with children. I have been coming here for 5 years and will never return.
I came on Sunday afternoon with my 13 year old and 6 year old nieces. The girl at the front counter was beyond rude and treated us like we were a pain in the ass. Funny enough the owner, who is a doll, and her husband had just left.
I watched her take every walk in before us. We waited over an hour. They finally took me and let me nieces sit in the waiting area for anotfher 10 minutes. After watching 2 more walk ins taken and the front desk girl go sit in a massage chair with her friends, I finally asked why she is taking everyone but my girls. Her excuse was she forgot. She then tried to tell me they were appointments which was a lie because I asked the people taken if they had appointments. We were literally sitting across from her the whole time. Okay so now you can't do your job and you lie. My nail tech said she forgot them. No kidding.
Then she told me 2 nail techs left early. Hopefully the manager knows when she's not there her staff leave early, can't do their job and lie. You know she didnt even say she was sorry.
It's too bad because they have great hours, clean facilities, and their nail techs are great. But I am not willing to allow kids to be treated this way. That being said I still will never come her. I will not be lied to and treated like our business is not important. I have probably spent thousands of dollars here. I tip very well.worst thing it took 10 minutes to do my nieces nails, and they gave her a pedicure and didn't even get...
Read moreFirstly, I LOVE Jeniza but she hardly does nails now which is understandable as the owner. However, the quality of the nail techs has dwindled significantly since I started coming two years ago. I set an appointment for a pedicure and acrylic nails. They got to me right away which is great to start my pedicure, the lady doing it asked how long I wanted my acrylics and I said not too long so she said okay kind of rudely, asked me what pedicure I wanted I said deluxe she said fine. Started doing the pedicure and did the basic, her massage was barely a massage. It felt like she was just rubbing the lotion in and then painted my nails. I let it go as she already started painting but I am pretty sure deluxe doesn't sound like basic. Anyways she started putting on my acrlyics and when asked what length I showed her and she immediately went walking around saying she cannot do them, they are too long for her. Mind you, they are probably a standard acrylic length, medium AT best. So they passed me along to another nail tech that has done my nails before. All she does the whole time sitting in the chair is complain on how long I wanted them, they are not that long. Ive had longer, they just hate doing acrylics, which baffles me. Well it's been a week and I feel like they are going to break off at any moment, one is already lifting off. They do not care about quality anymore and I have given them enough chances. Time to search for a new place....
