It’s a dog park that caters to dogs and their people. I appreciate the sidewalk that surrounds the park and the dish/bowl topography as it does a great job containing off leash dogs. Our vizsla enjoys the myriad places to take in the urine of other dogs. Most dog owners pick up waste and it’s generally free of riffraff.

Great for our dog šŸ• to run around and play fetch and it's cooler in the evening because the grass is watered a lot. Sort of an odd location and size but hidden from the city!

I live at Biltmore square condos, now for 8 years(right across the street from Desert Storm park).. 2 other large condominium structures (more people, dogs , children) will be using this park. 2 more Large condominium structures are new & located a block and a half just south of this park..Not all the Condos are complete yet. There is a short stay Inn, right next to the Desert Storm Park. Two things i do not see, but should be there. The population in this area is high density…probably lots of kids. let alone all the exercising people…This park cannot meet all those needs…I would think the city of Phoenix to do better.? This is Desert Storm Park! Other than burial grounds, don't about any other memorial to this war. with the EXCEPTION of a big stone with Desert Storm on it…wouldn't really know it, otherwise.. It does not have the feel of a park (children and dogs to play, also) except the well mowed grass and some gardening. People play soccer, some school practicing, but is almost always muddy at one end. Many joggers/walkers benefit…but there is no "shade" you want to throw a blanket down and enjoy a small picnic. Many dog walkers just let Dogs poop on the grounds, never picking up. Have often seen "overnite sleeping & camping" under a tree or a wall. Vandalism has nearly destroyed the beauty that was originally on a couple of walls. Yes, right now, it is a "place" people can exercise, take their doggies to poop, some field activity on the mowed grass, mud on one end (often- even smells moldy), but YES…it is a "nice outdoor place that is well lighted. But I cannot perceive it as a memorial nor a "family" park…and there is no parking…at all, except on other property or a couple of spaces for parking at the north end of the park. This is not a PARK…nor a respectful memorial to Desert Storm if naming that was the intention. I have seen other small parks, in Phoenix, this doesn't come close. Rename it or make it a...

A disgusting cesspool of dry and disintegrated dog poop. And it all drains down to the bottom of the otherwise lovely amphitheater / retaining wall, where sadly children play. Honestly, what a biohazard this place is. I can't believe dog owners can be so irresponsible and self centered. Oh and the wandering bands of junkies and alkies at the top of the park really add some nice local flair. The city needs to do something about the poop. Honestly, it needs to be remediated and the top layers of soil removed. Completely contaminated and sunken into the earth at this point. Oh and I'm sure these irresponsible owners feed and care for their dogs well lol. The feces is likely full of parasites and other disease. Great stuff for our kids to walk barefoot on. Whether this park is for dog owners primarily or not, the lack of pickup is on a level all its own and might be a city lawsuit waiting to happen...

The rating is not about the park, but about the visitors. This could be a great place to walk with your dogs, but it is literally FULL of fecses, at the entrance and throughout the whole park along the sidewalk, even though there arw trash cans avaialable. It is NOT an off leash park, as the signs indicate at the entrances that unleashed dogs are prohibited, and it is not fenced in. It’s no wonder it’s getting harder to find pet friendly places when owners do not care to pick up their...
