I’ve been coming to this revolving sushi bar for many years going back to when there were two named Sushi Station. I still call it that sometimes because I can’t remember the new name 😹

My boyfriend loves coming here because he wants a visual of what he’s going to get. I like it for the selection, price and the fact that your food waits on you 😺. We were on our way to another meal here when I realized that I didn’t think the closing time on Google was correct. I called and sure enough they were closing at 9:30 and not 10. We were already en route and I just hoped they’d still have a good selection even with 30 minutes until close. The belt was pretty empty when we sat down. It still had more than I expected being so late but I was a little disappointed. I decided to ask the waitress if we could actually order something that’s not on the belt. She replied happily that we could. I was expecting for her to be annoyed but she was very nice. We had two additional servers check to see if we got our order or if we needed anything else (even with 10 minutes until close.) We never felt rushed or awkward like you do in some restaurants close to the end of their night. I’ve always liked this place but the service we had this weekend made me like it even more! Thank you!

Sorry no actual food pictures. We had a long day and were trying to leave in a respectful...

The service was prompt and remained fast through the meal, but then again, I was my own server lol! But seriously, the host checked on me often and inquired about the meal at the time of payment. The sushi chefs were working hard, and hot. The plates were neat and clean and the presentation of each piece appeared divine. Beneath the surface of the fried sushi was burnt bottoms that made crunch sound soft. Aside from that and the red velvet cake being a little dry and the topping was very loose and soft as if melted from a few trips around the dining room conveyor belt. After surveying the full belt, two dishes I wanted were not present and a chef saw me looking and I asked if I missed them, he offered to make them and asked how many. I could see he conveyed to a back kitchen. He soon brought one and kept and eye contact between me and the pickup window and made me know he hadn't forgotten the other one. The sushi itself was amazing, excellent rolls, delicious proteins, fresh crisp vegetables, and fair sized pieces. The bathroom was very roomy and clean, however it needed some repair and a toilet seat slid out when I sat on it because it was broken.

I'll be back, many times... as this was not my first...

Personally, I wasn't too impressed by this place. Our waitresses were very nice, but I was confused since we weren't given any other menu or directions. We've been to revolving sushi places before hand so we knew what to do but we reluctantly took it thinking "I guess we start?" This might be an issue for first-timers. If you're like me, and prefer cold sushi, you won't be getting that here. It's served the authentic way (room temperature). The flavor of the rolls themselves were very unremarkable. I had a Hawaii style (?) roll which had eel, spicy tuna and spicy mayo. I expected this to be pretty flavorful but the only flavor I could note was spicy tuna. I understand that sushi is going to taste of fish but it should work with everything involved in the roll as well. I wanted to try their other items but since we weren't given a menu, I wasn't sure of the choices. Anyways, if you're looking for a fun, lively, and better-tasting sushi bar, I recommend Kura Sushi instead. Who knows though, you might like this place. I can see this being a fun first date spot, as the time we went (around 2) was...
