Easter sunday. I'm sorry it's a long review, I never leave a review. I've been in this industry for a while so it was needed. We'll let me start with this will be the last time I'll try to give chillis a chance. Once we arrived to get seated, I didn't see any host or anyone for a good minute. I was confused at first thinking we can seat ourselves (We didnt). This is seriously the only 2nd time in 10yrs I've been to this same chillis. I saw people walking around but didn't see anyone that will represent a host. Once someone came around and asked how many I said 5. I will be waiting roughly around 35minutes. I was fine with that. She took my name and phone number down so when our table is ready I would get a text. While we waited we took pictures of our kids outside to distract them as well. They were already hungry. 35minutes later I got the text, we walked back to try to get seated. Again no one is around, theres no host. The people that walked around looked so unorganized. Im not even sure they knew who was working host tonight. Once another girl walked to the booth she didn't try looking at us or even say anything. I was already knowing where this was going. Just by that experience there I knew I should of went elsewhere. Making sure I got her attention I let her know our table was ready. She looked confused. So of course the family who had just parked their truck outside when we were taking pictures took our table. The same girl who took our number and name down gave the table. Did they have different people working host? It wasn't even so bussy, compared to most resturants near. They didn't even confirm. I guess now I know I can walk up to a host and tell them my name is the table that is ready. What was the purpose for my number then? Let me remind you my kids were already hungry. So while we still had to wait for another table to be cleaned the family were seated and ready to eat. We got seated right next to them. 🙄 I did speak to a Manager and well I know how they will respond, they are confident in there employees. We even asked if some of the crew were new. Someone else came around asking if my children wanted candy.. I didnt feel like giving them a pice before they ate so I denied at the moment. Good try though. She let the server know to come back when we were done. So I thought it was a nice gesture and was willing to take the candy if they remembered. I apologize for my child being loud but being on the spectrum he is very impatient and very expressive. Our server was friendly, the Manager brought over chips and salsa which I didn't know at the moment were on the house. Thank you for that. Our order was taken, and I thank our server for not being as annoyed with us. The food was ok. We were hungry so yeah we had to finish it. I still felt like after we were sat and eating the family who took our table got acknowledged more. They forgot my daughters Salad and we got charged for a extra beer, which we didn't ask for. Just the water. I felt like I was annoying my server so I left it at that. I just wanted to finish and leave. I actually think they tried to charge me for another beer after paying for my bill through the kiosk. Whoever the lady that came around and asked about the candy I wish you would of reminded your server. The gesture was coming from you. I hope the manager really gets his crew on their A game because I can't be the only one who has experienced this. This was my first resturant experience where we didn't truly feel...
Read moreA few months ago my son and I went to this location and enjoyed a marvelous experience with great food, and a brilliantly wonderful waitress that I left a 50% tip. Believe me, she was amazing! This time we were so excited as it would be our second visit and let me tell you, I left the waitress a 0% tip. This is something I never did before. After we put our order in we noticed people coming in after us, getting their food, paying, and leaving. I kept looking for our waitress while trying to keep my son entertained, but she forgot we were even there. Then she came and told us that the kitchen was backed up. Yes, she lied. If she had been honest and said she forgot to place the order I would have understood as we all make mistakes. She chose to lie, when we had eyes to see others eating. Then we waited even longer. Like, really long considering I got a very simple salad, and my son got the fajitas. Nothing that should take so long. Well, it was my son's first experience with fajitas, and I explained to him how they come out sizzling in the pan, and the smell is incredible. Luckily, the table next to us, which came in 30 minutes after we placed our order had also ordered the fajitas and my son was able to experience that excitement vicariously. It would still be 45 minutes before his showed up. No sizzle, no smell, and a bit on the cooled off side. My salad was soggy from sitting around so long, and drizzled in queso fresco, which I asked to be left off because I'm vegan. Oh, and thanks for the burnt flatbread, that just made it all so much better. And I'm talking about the bottom and edges being charcoal black and disintegrated. Trying to get her back again after she threw our plates in front of us and ran off was ridiculous. There was no point because she was done. So she forgot to place our order, forgot to pick it up when it came out, ignored us until another worker (twice) sent her to our table, lied to us, didn't offer a dessert or a drink refill for myself. Thankfully she did refill my son's lemonade while looking me in the eye and lying about the kitchen staff. The vast contrast of service we received during those two visits was off the charts. Therefore, lady, your tip is backed up. Look for it...
Read moreI've gone to many Chili's for many years. Including this one. I've always had great experience. With the exception of last night. Service was the absolute worst. No one to seat us. So we sat ourselves To a empty restaurant were told not allowed to sit there. Why is that? Because this section is closed. Then she said we probably won't get served. She was extremely rude. There was 5 Booth's with people eating and drinking Alongside servers laughing and sitting down doing nothing in this section. Which is close to kitchen, serving section and bar. Very childish, unprofessional staff. Finally a server came to help us. We were quick to order our drinks and food. The whole ordeal was waiting. Never, with plenty staff standing around Not one came by to ask for refills. And making a comment about service I was told by server who only took our order and never saw her till food came. She was sick of us being rude and I could leave if I didn't want to eat my salad. After the manager finally came to assist us. Service was a little better. But it just appeared to be funny to all of them pointing staring and laughing at us. The staff you have on the floor are completely going to give you a bad review. Can't sit here. Hmm.. we won't get served if we don't move. Hmmm then told I need to leave . You need to hire experinced servers. If your staff doesn't want to accommodate with polite manner's. And manager just wants to goofe around with the lil girl's. Maybe you all need a new job profession. I don't know if you all do secreat shopper? But you should Compliments to Steve the bartender though....
