Excited to do something memorable with my children we decided to find a place affordable to sit down and eat. Party of 4 on a Saturday morning. I figured it would be busy, and expected some what of a delay. After being seated it took over 15mins and we still had not met our server, or order our drinks. I stopped a waiter helping the party in the table next to us. She suggested she would look for our server. After another 5 mins a nice young lady, Sammie, came over and saw the frustration growing on my face. She took our drink order. I notice the party next to us left and the table was cleaned. A new party of 3 came, a lady and her kids, and the table behind them soon after also had another small group of 2, a man and his kid arrive and were seated. Waiting for our drinks, i notice the lady and her kids next to us received their drinks and were placing their food order. The waitress assiting them went right along and took the man and his child's drink order and food order as well. We finally recieved our drinks and then placed our food order. I had to use a straw to stir my coffee because we had not recieved any silverware. We waited over 20 mins for our food. Both parties next to us had recieved their food, and were almost done by the time ours arrived. When we recieved our food we had to ask for silverware and glasses of water. How would we eat wiyhout silverware? I had to ask for a refill of coffee. After waiting 5 mins i just got up and went to the counter and asked for silverware, a1 sauce, a refill of coffee, and some water. No one seemed to pay any attention the horrible experience we were having. The waitress tried her best but was stopped by another customer. My food was cold and my patience almost gone. After eating our food I went to the cashier to pay. I noticed the pricing for the item I ordered was incorrect and advised the cashier, a young man with a condescending attitude. He tried to explain to me the difference. I explained the item i recieved and pointed it out on the menu to clarify the pricing. I advised him of the experience and the time for our visit, and he shrugged it off. With the defensive attitude he suggested, "it is busy, so it happpens." I explained to him that the two tables next to us came after and left before us. He had no excuse and just stated, "it happens". I asked him, "You guys must receive a lot of complaints, huh?". He admitted to the high level of complaints from customers. His level of professionlism explained they had no intentions of improving their customers experience and their level of service. It just happens. Truly I tried to be patient. Being a service representaive, I strive to make sure I perform at a certain level and take pride in my work. I try not to complain when a person is trying and just overwhelmed. So although I had a horrible experience, I want to thank Sammie for at least trying to help us out. I know you did what you could. My first trip was a disaster. I wasn’t greeted when i entered the door, there was no waiter in sight and it took about 20 minutes for me to get a seat. the place wasn’t even busy as i came in around 3am and there was only one other table occupied. Dirty tables everywhere though. the floor was sticky. The food was good but my overall experience was poor due to the way i was treated during my stay. my waiter was nowhere to be found again when i needed a refill or when i was ready to order dessert. I would rate this visit a -3/10. Somebody needs to talk to night shift staff and figure out what his problem was before I ever return on the days that he’s working.
My second visit was a complete turn around. I was greeted by Andrea as soon as I entered the door even though she was busy bringing food to one of her tables. She told me I could have a seat anywhere and she’d bring me a menu as soon as she was finished but I grabbed one by the front desk to help her out a bit. She checked on me frequently, even made my toast herself because the cook stepped away to use the restroom, refilled my drink and coffee without me having to ask. she knew what i needed before i even knew! She was attentive and very friendly, pausing to hold conversation with me between bites. She deserves a raise, if i might add. She was running around the entire restaurant like a pro and didn’t even seem flustered. Read moreIf I could give a zero star I would. Worst service all around. Not just my waiter but the whole staff. No one knew who was waiting what table. My food was brought out in a timely manner which I was thankful for but it was missing the main reason why I even get the meal. I order the fried cheese melt (heart attack). The lady and I go there almost every sunday for a nice cheap meal. We have never have had this poor of experience as we did. My waiter who I've been defending since he started as in giving him the benefit of the doubt due to being new and seemed quite. Today, which is dead as hell, I waited 20 minutes to finally get my tomato sauce (which is what makes that sandwich) meanwhile he comes to our table 2 or three different times before I got my sauce and not once did he get or offer a refill, I literally got up and when and helped myself because I was so irritated. Another couple got seated two tables away from me and the waited for about 10 min until he was fed up and ask someone if they could get at least a drink and the waiter replied with "who's got table one?" And I get it they're assigned tables or sections but he could have been a good waiter and get the man a drink. Then next couple that gets seat right next to me the table hadn't even been washed. This sooo sad because my wife and I love to come here. Never had any bad issues or anything really until today and it ruined my chance at ever coming back to this place....
