My son loved the views and the atmosphere at From The Rooftop and would often come here to watch the sunset. He found great comfort here and would often sit in one of the bucket chairs. He enjoyed meeting his friends here. On the way to a Dr's appointment in the neighborhood, he pointed up to the building and commented to his mother that he'd like to bring the whole family here and view the sunset together. Unfortunately, Karter passed away before we were able to join him there. We decided to have his memorial at From The Rooftop and reached out to the staff. They were very accommodating and understanding. Rich Cerino, the Director of Sales and Marketing, worked out all the details with the family even though they had never before had a memorial service there. They set apart rooms for our out-of-town guests and they helped organize some special details as well. We rented the whole rooftop for a Sunday Night and had an Open Bar with a buffet of food. It was the perfect night. The staff, from the DJ to the Bartenders to the servers, went over and above to make our night memorable. The food, the ambiance, the wading pool, the beautiful views, the artist, and the exceptional company resonated to the benefit of everyone who attended. It was the perfect way to remember my son in the place that brought him much needed comfort during some difficult times. After hearing my comments about my son and how he found comfort sitting in the bucket chair and watching the sun go down From The Rooftop, Jeff Del Sesto, the Director of Engineering, approached me and let me know that he had spoken to those in charge and that they would like to gift the family one of the chairs that my son would sit in while he was there. They delivered the chair to my house a few hours ago and below you'll see a picture of Karter's little sister and his dog sharing the moment in our backyard. Most reviews here are sufficient to confirm that From The Rooftop is a special place to go for a wonderful evening of joy, companionship, excellent service, and great views, but they are so much more than that. To us, they're family. I'll never forget that night and the way they treated us and our guests. I now know from experience what my son saw in that place, and our family will frequently return for a drink or two as we watch the sun go down and to remember with gratitude a wonder-filled evening and a truly magical place.

Where do I begin, the ads on Instagram are misleading because the food doesn't look like what's on Instagram and the drinks came in a plastic cup and super pricey. I called the number on the Instagram profile because I wanted to have my birthday party, I called and talked to a lady named Tracy at first she was a little standoffish, not sure why she was acting that way, I asked if I could have my birthday party there and she said yes, she asked for how many people, I said 20 people and she asked for my email and phone number, then couple weeks later I called again to ask if I could bring a birthday cake and baloons and she said yes, then a week passed I emailed her about having minors and if they had a cheaper rate if any of my guest wanted to book a a room, she replied with the minors but never replied on a rate for the rooms, so all this time I'm thinking everything was good. The day of the party which was a Saturday I pulled up to the hotel, there's no parking garage only valet parking which was $25.00 for two hours, they said after two hours you would have to leave, I ended up parking behind the hotel for $55.00. I get inside the rooftop find our waiter he seats us very nice man Jose, he had a hand held device to take orders but he couldn't take our orders because the device had no wifi, he had to hand write everything and a little paper, he said that half of the rooftop didn't have wifi and he would have to go back to the middle of the rooftop to punch in the orders to his hand held device to the kitchen and drink station, we didn't get for about one hour, half of my party was there while the other half was downstairs trying to find parking. The waiter came back after I have been there not more that an hour and half the waiter said that we had to leave because our 90 minute limit was up, I was so confused I asked to talk to Tracy or manager of the hotel, I talked to Tracy and she said did you get a text from us I said yes the day before which was not even 12 hours before I got there, she said in that text it tells you, you have 90 minutes slot, I told I didn't click on the whole post because at the beginning it was just confirming that I was coming. I started crying out if frustration because Tracy should have said something from day one when I booked, I told I had guests flying in from Vegas, she saw that I was upset and said just stay everything will be ok, before I walked she said if I would have told you about the 90 minutes you would not have booked with us, I was like that's my decision if I wanted to book. I don't recommend this place at all for big parties, I know now to ask alot more questions, very very disappointed with...

I felt racially profiled when me and a group of friends came in the establishment and was told we couldn’t order anymore because ā€œthe manager on duty was angry with our partyā€ our order was hefty ($250+) but we didn’t cause any problems. The manager did not want us to stay on premises, very horrible experience!!! Not a recommended place for colored minorities!!!! WATCH RACIAL PROFILING, evening/week day manager gets mad and stops serving customers… stay on his good side if you want to spend your hard earned money… (Jason Is the general manager that serviced us and gave horrible service, Mariella (or however you spell it, she was a new employee and expressed how ungrateful she was to service my party.)

Jason I can explain how your service was horrible, your server (a short pale woman who wears sun glasses and has black/burgundy hair who never told me her name) came to my parties tables and stated that her manager was upset with us as a group (a group of African American males with Dread locks) because we ordered a brownie with ice cream to go, she stated that the ice cream could not be put in a to go container because it would melt (common sense). My family ordered the food to go because they were heading to catch a flight, instead of you resolving the real issue of horrible customer service you gave us a SMALL discount that may have amounted to $40 but gratuity was still added to each check so that SMALL discount never reflected. I felt insulted with the minor discount offered but what was offered explained why we received the service that we did. You may be right about this establishment housing certain minorities but I’m here to tell any COLORED MINORITY WITH DREAD LOCKS, this place is NOT FOR US. We are not welcomed, the service wait time is horrible depending on what color you are, and the general manager is not a good point of contact to resolve any issues. I can never visit this place again, I was treated disgustingly by management and staff. I know it was a hot day but my family flew to Arizona and I tried showing them a good time, I raved about the rooftop! I love the view but I’ll never return my respect as a customer is something I demand. I hope every time some one is racially profiled (I’m sure it happens a lot) they turn to google and leave a review, a great view isn’t worth loosing your self respect.

Sincerely A colored male minority that was unappreciated after...
