My daughter kept asking to go into the city (suburban living here) so we figured what a great time to show her the Arts District - Roosevelt Row 🎨 These murals are beautiful! There are also so many shops, restaurants, galleries and much more to see & do. You can easily make an afternoon out of it but personally we were in it to see the murals and not have an expensive day out. ☀️ We chose Khavi Coffee as our first stop & it was amazing! The cutest spot and lattes were delicious and strong. ☕️ Have you been to the Arts District? Any recommendations for next time we head there? #phoenixarizona #visitphoenix #rooseveltrow #artdistrict #phoenixcoffee #visitarizona #arizonatravel #explorearizona #touristinmyowncity #artoftheday #phoenixmoms #arizonasbest #arizonacollective

Kähvi has been on my radar for some time, and I was excited to finally give it a try. I asked the barista what was popular, and she recommended their seasonal french toast latte, so I ordered it. My drink was decent, but for $10, I expected a premium iced coffee. Instead, I got more of a coffee-flavored milk. The atmosphere has a hipster, yet modern style to it. Although the interior is spacious, the space doesn’t feel properly utilized and its size makes it feel more like a modern food court than a cozy coffee shop. As others have mentioned, the lack of outlets and inconsistent lighting make this place less than ideal for studying or getting work done. All in all, Kähvi was a decent experience. I probably wouldn’t order their latte again, but some of their other drinks and baked goods looked delicious. I’d say it’s worth a try.

One girl truly ruined the experience for me. Wish I got her name. I'm new to the area and wanted to grab coffee on Saturday morning - I like to explore new coffee shops to do work at sometimes and since this place is right across the street from my new apartment, I figured it would be an awesome place to try. However, pretty much immediately after I entered with my boyfriend, we were given dirty looks by the girl behind the register. My boyfriend asked if they had seating on the roof since a large portion of their seating was closed for a "private event" and we were met with a snarky "that's a different business". I then ordered a cheese and egg breakfast sandwich and asked if they had any other proteins besides ham and turkey bacon. The employee responded that "there's egg on the sandwich". This comment almost took me out of character because that was completely uncalled for, but instead, I simply replied "you know what I meant but add ham". So we completed our order and received our burnt coffee (I ordered a caramel macchiato and the caramel was not mixed properly) then we proceeded to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for our food. It does not take that long to make two sandwiches when there were only 3 other customers at the time and they arrived after us. We waited directly in front of the register so it was NOT possible to forget we were waiting. So, I finally asked another employee if our food was ready. The employee I asked followed up with the rude employee who placed the original order and I watched as she laughed then walked over to the chef and asked about the sandwiches. When she finally brought them over to us she handed one to me (even though I reached for both) and handed one to my boyfriend. She has a very NASTY attitude and it took everything I had to not address her in the same manner. I can't help but feeling she did not like seeing me with my partner because we are an interracial couple. I just can't think of any other reason for such treatment when we were just two easygoing customers who simply wanted coffees and breakfast sandwiches... I will only return if I speak directly to management and am able to report this employee. She is ruining...

I really like this coffee shop and I don’t mind that people bring their dogs in. But if I could ask the manager a favor in asking their staff not to feed customers’ dogs with their hands and then try to handle our food right after? This morning I saw the cashier feeding a cookie to a customer’s dog and I tried to hurry to grab a brownie from the counter before she could touch it with her hands, and she looked annoyed. But your cookies and brownies are on display and open as if we can take one and come to the register like they do in Starbucks. But I backed off a little and let her get it for me but I waited until she removed the cookies on top and then quickly grabbed the brownie underneath them because I still really don’t want dog saliva on my food even if it is wrapped. Her hand still touched the corner of the wrapped brownie and I was not that happy but I stayed polite as she checked me out. Please let the customers feed their own dogs and please keep your hands dog mouth free as you serve the humans. I like dogs a lot and I like this cafe a lot, but if some sanitary methods could please be observed, it would make this place better. Thank you for taking this into...

My wife and I ordered two coffee's, a Blueberry muffin and two egg sandwiches. They served us one coffee. When we said we ordered two, the girl had to check our order first, guess she had to verify we were telling the truth. She then got our second coffee. We were told to pick a table and our order would be out shortly. Well it only took 25 minutes to make two egg sandwiches. But you would think they would have brought us the Blueberry muffin before the egg sandwich! No, they never gave us our Blueberry muffin but did finally gave us our egg sandwiches. Now figure this, one sandwich was warm but the other was I would call room temperature. I have to go up to the counter and ask where our Blueberry muffin was. If they offered their egg sandwich for $.99 cents, stay away, far away. If they offer their Blueberry muffin for $.29 cents, stay away, far away. If the offer their terrible, stinkin, raunchy coffer for free, don't take it, it is that bad. In my 50 years give or take a few of having breakfast out, this is BY FAR, the worst place my wife and I have ever been to. On a scale of 1 to 10, it...
