I am giving this place a one star because there isn’t a ZERO star rating. I was profiled as “drunk” for looking Hispanic! The manager, kevin… intersected us (my husband and I) after entering the upstairs bar following the hostess recommendations.
He very rudely told us that he couldn’t served us because of the way “I looked”. I explained to him that we got off the Arizona bike after going to 2 bars and having only 2 shots for the night. We accepted it and told him we just need to use the restroom and we would be on our way since this establishment serves people based on how “they look”. We would not spent our money on a racist establishment.
After we got back to the bike, the captain of the pedal bike asked us to come speak to her contact “Kasey”, so as much of an inconvenience as it as, we got off the bike again and approached the front door of the business. We were stopped by Kasey who was profiling me again as a Hispanic and told me that my tone was loud and she did not like the way I spoke! (Apparently being upset is not acceptable) she was not coherent and seemed to communicate at a very low educational level, she could not hold an intelligent conversation and felt the way I looked, spoke, handled myself made her feel uncomfortable. This is racism 1 on 1, when a person feels uncomfortable to deal with someone else that looks, speaks and handles themselves differently.
I have done bikes in MANY different towns, meet people in different places but NEVER experienced racism to this extent.
Also, I am writing this after getting off this bike… if I was as “impaired” as they assumed, I probably would not be able to write this post. But ok!
Truly sorry for this town and this establishment.
My Hispanic people, DON’T support this place. They judge and profile people based on “the way...
Read moreAfter having such a great experience at the Tempe location, it was beyond disappointing for it to take a complete 180 at this one.
The first thing that went wrong here was revolved around my server, who gave me the creeps right from the very beginning from the way he kept leering at me. When I placed my order I specifically ordered from the vegan portion of the menu, but then he brings me a salad covered in feta cheese, basically negating the fact that a vegan menu even exists here if you're going to get it wrong. Then when I told him to fix my salad, he kept leering at me and acting like it was my problem, not his.
Somewhere along the line I approached another employee, saying I wanted to speak with a manager because my server made me uncomfortable, and when (supposedly) one of the managers came to talk to me he was equally as creepy. He offered to comp my salad because they messed it up, but that really doesn't do anything to fix the fact that this entire staff was acting like something was wrong with me for just simply wanting to eat the way I want to and not be leered at.
Then, as I'm getting ready to leave and finishing my beer, some random woman who I guess was another manager, but I have no idea, comes up to me and wants to know what my favorite beer on the flight was. Uh, nice try woman but that's also kind of creepy. Let me sit and drink my beer in peace, but you all won't even let me do that.
It's too bad that this place gave me the creeps, because I would have liked to have checked out the third location in Chandler, but I think I'll skip out on that, because the company clearly doesn't know how to take care of all...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but after the experience I had at Pedal Haus during the NBA Finals, I feel genuinely compelled to give credit where credit is due. In a city where good service can sometimes feel like a bonus rather than a baseline, Libby at Pedal Haus completely redefined what hospitality should feel like.
From the moment I walked in, Libby made me feel like I wasn’t just another body in a packed house on game night—she made me feel seen. In a sea of rowdy fans, she somehow struck the perfect balance between keeping everything running smoothly and checking in with sincere warmth and attention. Drinks never hit empty, food came out fast, and the energy at our table never dipped once thanks to her quick wit and electric presence.
She wasn’t just working a shift—she was orchestrating the vibe. Libby anticipated needs before we even voiced them. Every time she dropped by, it wasn’t rushed or transactional—it was like she was a longtime friend who just happened to be the most competent person in the room. She held her own with charm, humor, and grace, even as the crowd got more fired up with every play. You could tell other tables felt it too—Libby was the Finals MVP, no question.
On a night that was already high-stakes and high-energy, Libby made the entire experience unforgettable. Pedal Haus has always had a great atmosphere, but she’s the reason I’ll be coming back and bringing friends. Employees like her don’t just elevate the brand—they...
