This was my spot prior to the closure/ renovation due to proximity to my house and food selection/ variety. We have since gone twice to eat and while the food is good, the service and portions are questionable. I understand the economics of being closed for months may incur costs and undue burden on the business, but twice we have ordered burritos and twice the burritos have been slightly bigger than the frozen chimigangas u can buy at the grocery store. The most recent incident that spurs this review may have begun due to a misunderstanding at ordering, I wanted a carne asada, bean, rice burrito. The cashier may have heard bean, cheese, and rice since I did say meat, rice, beans. But it appears it was corrected at paying, since my receipt reflects a carne asada burrito w/ beans and rice. When receiving my order, I checked my food and noticed that the burrito was limp. After inspection, there was way more beans and a dab of rice and meat. I went back to explain and to their credit, they offered to replace, but the replacement burrito was a whole 2in shorter than a different burrito I also ordered. I'm not asking for something enormous, but if portion control is in effect, returning customers should be aware shrinkflation may be in...
Read moreThis is our family favorite for midnight snacks. They have one of the best rolled tacos (3 or 5). I like them with cabbage and cotija cheese. Every once in awhile I will have it with melted cheese. The Carne asada tacos and sopes are my go to when I am starving and they are so delicious too. Any of their burritos 🌯 is also tasty. My favorite is the breakfast burritos. Huge burritos too. You will not be disappointed.
They have jicama or hibiscus 🌺 tea and I usually order it with half hibiscus and half lemonade. So divinely tasteful. I like their pickled carrots, onions and jalapeños. The chili sauces are amazing to me. My favorite is the green chili. If I want hot and spicy I will eat the red chili.
Food was tasty 😋 and my palate is happy. Warning. They are pretty busy most of the time but they do have 2 drive through entries (driver and passenger) side and walk up for your convenience.
Customer service is a hit or miss. Sometimes, you get someone who is kind and friendly and other times not so friendly. They just want you to order and get you through the line. It's awkward sometimes. I don't like that but as long as I get my food and it's correct I am a...
Read moreI have to admit, when ordering from Doordash this place really made the food fresh, but when I went in person and spent up to 50 bucks at this location. The food was not to one's liking at all. I am disappointed in this location, and I do not think returning will be considered. The Meat had a not so fresh odor, the veggies that come tied in a bag smell kind of like what you use to clean your kitchen with. One of my family members became sick and threw up. I think that management may want to reconsider how food/drinks are prepared and served, along with a bit more customer service and respect. If you have a choice and want something good to eat, that is close to a home cook meal, go to La Korita on 27th Ave and Indian...
