Went there tonight to pick up an online order. Took over an hour there were people in front of me waiting I think they were drivers they were there for over 30 minutes One of them tried to convey that she was taking up their time by not telling them how long it would take and she said that she didn't care whatsoever. As all of us had to wait about an hour for our orders The place was empty and they had a few online orders and that's it. The service was absolutely terrible from the girl at the cash register for everyone in there. As I read other reviews they seem to be a lot like my review but I didn't add the girl that was an absolute nightmare she does throw sandwiches up people including myself. She gets a very mean look on her face like a spoiled little brat and then she goes and cries in the back. After treating people like garbage. The review where the person said the sandwich was literally thrown at them with the wheat bread instead of white when they made it clear to them there was probably just a stare at the person and they wrap the sandwich and threw it at them. Because that's what this girl does there is no other Jersey Mike's that this happens at. You're getting these reviews one stars because of her. If I owned a business and it was on fire I would pour water on it to put it out if you know what I mean. So get rid of your problem so people can enjoy going there. Because it's usually her and just two other people in there in the evening and it doesn't seem that anyone is managing during the evening hours. During the day this place is great. Go after 6:00 p.m. Well I warned you. as the other numerous amazing amount of one star ratings will tell you. I don't have to give you her name because you guys already know there's no way you couldn't know.
I will now change my review they removed that girl from the store. Just like four of the restaurants did that I have seen her work at. Went in today at lunch time 12:00 when is busy only four employees. They did a great job and we're very quick....
Read moreI have been to this place a handful of times and every time the staff in the evening are very introverted. When you walk in they don't say thing to you. They just look at you waiting for you to order. It drains your soul just to walk in there in the evening.
Before last week I would have only given this store a 3 star. The one next to my work is amazing and gave them a 5 star. However, this location has been marked off my places to eat.
I should state that I used UberEast for this order. I ordered a The Italian and it was fine but the part that broke the camels back was when they messed up my wife's order. She ordered a hot pastrami on white. Now, typically when you order a hot pastrami it should be hot correct? This sandwich was refrigerator cold. The sauces was one side of the sandwich, no attempt to spread it out. The sauerkraut was on the other side of the sandwich. The cheese was the only thing that looked room temperature. It looked like the kind of cheese that you would see on a cutting board at a family event, and it had been sitting there for a few hours. It was oily and spotty, not with mold but where the oil had started to cause it discolor. As for not heating up the food. The employee either didn't know how to use the grill, forgot to heat the food, or was too lazy to turn it on. We placed our order around 7:05 PM and since they are generally really slow I bet the grill was off and the lazy employee didn't want to turn it back on.
What they should have done was call me to let me now they couldn't make hot sandwich and I would have ordered something different. But, they continued with the order and served a very cold HOT pastrami.
They manager really needs to do something to help with employee morale and how to speak to customers, instead of just stand looking like they are broken and couldn't...
Read moreThis place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, here’s why. This was hands down one of the most alienating, tone-deaf customer service experiences I’ve had — and unfortunately, it occurred at my fav sandwich shop.
The moment I walked into this unfamiliar Jersey Mike’s location, I sensed something was off. The man behind the counter (who is mentioned in multiple other HORRIBLE reviews) — older, probably bald, expressionless, rotten tooth and exuding the warmth of a DMV printer (details unfortunately burned into my memory due to this interactions discomfort, but he deserves this horrible review) — didn’t greet me, smile, or offer the slightest acknowledgment and/or expression. Instead, he stared coldly as if I’d inconvenienced him by existing.
I politely asked if I could substitute turkey for ham in the Original Italian due to an allergy — a perfectly reasonable request that other locations have accommodated without hesitation. His response? “Speak up,” he snapped, followed by a condescending refusal unless I agreed to an upcharge. This, despite the fact that I was going to remove meat AND cheese — a net loss in both ingredients and cost.
This was not a simple miscommunication. This was a complete failure of hospitality. His demeanor wasn’t just unfriendly — it was actively hostile. Combine that with his appearance being eerily consistent with other negative reviews, and what you have is a textbook case of someone unfit to represent any customer-facing brand.
Frankly, if this man is the standard this location accepts, I fear for the integrity of your hiring practices. I left — and I won’t...
