PICK N' ROLL — Restaurant in Phoenix

I am BEYOND livid right now. 1st we come here all the time, at least 2X a wk, spending $100-$150 a month at this restaurant & today Myself, my son & my fiancé came here as we always do & for the first time EVER my fiancé forgot his mask so when we entered they said they couldn’t serve us because he didn’t have a mask on. So he went outside because I always have an extra one in the car for instances as this but unfortunately my son took my extra out the car so my fiancé stayed outside & me & my son re entered restaurant WITH OUR MASKS ON with the intention to order TO GO & THEY REFUSED TO SERVE US!!! Telling us that because my fiancé didn’t have a mask even though he was OUTSIDE & me & my son had masks on they had the right to “refuse service to anyone!” I explained to them 3-4 times how me and my son were the only ones inside ordering TO GO so why couldn’t they serve us & they STILL PROCEEDED TO REFUSED TO TAKE OUR ORDER!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! It wasn’t until my fiancé who was outside the entire time thought to go in Panda Express next door & ask them for a mask to come inside did they FINALLY TAKE MY ORDER!! Ridiculous! How are they going to refuse my service because someone who arrived with me who is outside the restaurant doesn’t have a mask on!!! GET REAL!!! So now this restaurant can demand ppl outside the restaurant to have masks on? OUTRAGEOUS!!! I will from now on drive the extra 25mins to the Pick N Roll In Scottsdale to give them my money before I EVER bring this restaurant my business again even if this location is only 5mins...

So, a few of my coworkers had gone by here during their opening week. I saw what my coworkers, had been eating and it looked amazing!!

So as soon as we could, me and my family went to try it out!

Absolutely delish! Our favorite sushi place (for living in the desert) has been Harumi Sushi! And now this wonderful place! Also was pleased to find out both Harumi and Pick n roll all are connected!!

The wait was not long and all our stuff came out to about 50bucks, which includes drinks as well! Boy do we love our sushi!! The price was such a nice surprise since I'm use to around 80/100 for our sushi bills.

The layout is super nice and open and the tables are nice and big! They have basic fountain drinks, detox water which has cucumbers and stuff and the green tea is so good!

For the sushi, we ordered the sushi on a stick, golden California roll, dynamite roll, super crunch shrimp roll, and the eel dragon roll and also an order of eel nigiri! They come with some delicious little wierd salad thing on the side, It was super tasty! The "fried" sushi is so good, not heavy and has the perfect crunch to it! We are coming back again, and we agreed it's very dangerous to live so near a great new restaurant addition!! We can't wait to try...

Pick N' Roll was recommended by a neighbor of ours. Overall our experience was great. Good food for a reasonable price. Google listed it as less busy than normal & that was accurate. We were the only people inside when we arrived at about 6:30pm. Throughout our stay dining in, a dozen + more people came & went. You take a menu & check off what items you want. At the register they confirm the order & you pay. The food is prepared fresh, either crafted or cooked, after you order it. You take your receipt & a buzzer to communicate when your order is complete. This is not fast food speed, but I feel it is faster than a "sit-down restaurant" with a wait staff is. When we received the food, everything came in tin "to-go" style bowls & we shared potluck style, passing bowls around. I will note that item's marked "spicy", are spicy. More so than we like. Not a bad thing as "spicy" is in the name, just be aware. At the end of the night we were full. The 3 staff members we interacted with were a pleasure.
