I got the loaded buffalo chicken fries. When they first came out it was the wrong order so it went back. 20 minutes or so later the new one came out, which tasted fine. About an hour later I started to feel sick. About 10 hours after eating I was throwing up and unable to keep water down. I called the location and spoke to the manager who I told I got food poisoning from the meal I consumed at his location, and was informed by him, "well thankfully it wasn't food poisoning because that usually happens within the first 24 hours, it was probably something else you had eaten" (which my family and I all ate the same things prior to driving the 30 minutes to get to that restaurant) and comped me 2 free meals for me to go back (which I told him my family might go back, but me personally refuse to go back). well it (the food poisoning, e.t vomiting, diarrhea, and unable to keep water down) happened within 10 hours of my visit, and I missed work because of all the vomiting and diarrhea I was experiencing. I work at a hospital in the ICU division. I didn't argue with the manager. To be honest, I just wanted to try to relax. My body was sore and I was exhausted. I am an understanding person and I get that the cook was new. I wouldn't be opposed to going back, but I feel the matter wasn't handled properly. "She got food poisoning from our location, let's just deny it and throw some free food her way and call it a day." That's how I feel about how the matter was handled. We have not gone back as of yet. My daughter's loves Shane's and will try to go back soon I'm sure, but as for me, I'd rather give my business to a different restaurant. Update: my family wanted me to give it another try, got the special chicken strips and once again got raw chicken. Sent it back and it felt like more of a problem for them. They rename it. When the guy brought it back out he practically threw it on the table and walked away. No apologies no waiting to make sure it was cooked.. Nothing. I'm done with Shane's. I'm never...

I was surprised to see this place has a 3.9 rating AND I HAVE BEEN EATING HERE. First of all, I slipped because I would have never eaten here if I had noticed their rating. However, it did confirm my experience this week. I have eaten here several times mainly because of proximity. Food has always only been decent and tender. So, with BBQ sauce, my craving is satitated. This week, I went in for a late lunch. I ordered the 2-meat plate and paid an upcharge for baby back ribs (I was given 3 bones). My second meat was suppose to be brisket. The plate included two sides, and I also ordered a drink. $30!! The only reason I did not cancel and re-order was because someone was behind me waiting to order. The brisket truly looked like pulled pork and had a peculiar flavor more appropriate for pot roast. There was nothing "smoked bbq" about it, but it was tender, I had bbq sauce, so I ate it (the sauce did not mask the flavor). The ribs were dry and tough in places, nasty flavor. This meal was too expensive to have both meats sub-par. I asked for a replacement on the ribs. The employee replaced it without a problem and offered to exchange it again for something else if it wasn't better. Night and day difference, very tender and tasty. At the end of my meal, she asked if the new ribs were better. I told her yes, and the others should not be served again to anyone because they were awful. They were still on my table, I had no desire to eat around the bad parts or save for later. She thanked me for letting her know and then said THEY PROBABLY HAD SOME LEFT OVER FROM YESTERDAY!!😳 I was speechless, and in that moment, I deleted the app and will NEVER return. I normally order takeout and would have been extremely upset had I gotten home to discover the awful meat they tried to pass on to me. I will drive the extra miles next time. I have finally...

Your Barbecue Ribs are excellent. But your sides need alot of help but the good news is they can be easily fixed if your not closed minded and stubborn. The coleslaw has zero flavor I mean its completely tasteless. Applecider vinegar mayo alittle sugar or honey celery salt and its fixed and people will really enjoy it. Also the mac and cheese needs alot of help. The macaroni is way over cooked like mush. When you cook your pasta take it out of the water when its alittle less then el dente then into ice water to stop the cooking then drain after a few minutes. Im assuming you make your cheese sauce from scratch but maybe not. It needs alittle help add some parmesan cheese to sharpen the taste a bit and alittle cayenne pepper. I also had the onion rings there ok but the portion is small for the price. I hope you actually take these suggestions and improve your sides. People look forward to really good coleslaw and really good mac and cheese and its a big let down when neitherare good. Most people won't even tell you. With the price of food these days everthing should be excellent not...

Craving some lip-smackin’ barbecue? Head over to Shane’s Rib Shack in Phoenix, where you’ll be greeted with warm smiles and an inviting ambiance. Their barbecue sauce bar is a game-changer! Their pepper sauce and spicy honey will ignite your taste buds. But let’s dive into the eats. I ordered the sample plate, a feast of baby back ribs, pulled pork, chicken strips, and sides. The standout was the fried okra and Mac n’ cheese, a cheesy, gooey delight. While the food was satisfying, the ribs could have been more tender and the pulled pork needed some extra seasoning. But the chicken strips, doused in buffalo sauce, were a crispy, flavorful treat. Despite the minor setbacks, the service at Shane’s was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top-notch. Overall, Shane’s Rib Shack is not your typical barbecue mecca. It’s a solid option with friendly faces and a sauce bar that’ll keep you coming back for more. Just don’t set your expectations too high for the meats.

I had been to this place back in 2011 (the last time I was in the area). I chose this location as it was the closest to me (21 miles) but I wanted something a little different. Did not disappoint in terms of side dishes. The area is a lot more built up since I was last here and much busier but worth the drive. The Texas toast and peach cobbler is were outstanding; perfectly toasted bread with just the right amount of butter. The cobbler was perfection, not too sweet and not tart; another perfect Southern treat. Haven’t tried the smoked wings yet but they smell awesome. The sweet tea is that good old fashioned down home Southern tea that makes you go into a diabetic coma.

Oh wow! This restaurant is the best! I’m from the south, and I’ve had a lot of bbq in my life, and this is absolutely incredible! Hubby had ribs and I had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and okra. Ribs are fall off the bone tender, the pork was equally tender and the flavor was off the charts! Their sauces are incredible, my personal favorite is the Caroline mustard bbq sauce, I bought a bottle on the way out. This is 💯 our new FAVORITE BBQ JOINT! The staff are so friendly, atmosphere is top notch, TVs for watching a game and hanging out. I can’t say enough, we will be back regularly! Please keep up the great work, and thank you so much!
