Smashburger — Restaurant in Phoenix

On 9/1/24 at approximately 8:40 PM, I visited your restaurant to pick up an online order. When I arrived, I placed an additional order for milkshakes with Dyanara. While waiting for the milkshakes, I walked over to the area where online orders are stored to verify my name on the receipt. Once I confirmed that the order was mine, I reached out to claim it.At that moment, Dyanara abruptly yelled at me, saying, "I'd appreciate it if you didn't touch the bags!" I tried to reassure her that I was simply retrieving my food while waiting for my milkshakes. I even offered to show her my debit card to prove that the name matched the one on the order. However, she immediately dismissed my attempt, insisting, "No, you only ordered milkshakes," twice, even as I tried to explain.She then called for the manager to speak with me. I calmly confirmed with the manager that the order was indeed mine, to which she replied that they were still waiting on my fries. I thanked her and sat down, feeling utterly disrespected by the way I was treated in a restaurant full of people. When the fries were ready, the manager handed me my order without any apology for Dyanara's rude and unfriendly behavior.While I continued to wait for my milkshakes, another customer mentioned to the manager that Dyanara should improve her customer service, stating that her behavior was unacceptable. I agreed but continued to wait patiently. When my milkshakes were finally ready, Dyanara brought them to me without an apology or acknowledgment of the misunderstanding. Despite my frustration, I simply thanked her and left, extending to her the grace she failed to offer me as a paying customer.I would appreciate an apology for the disrespectful experience I had at...

Do yourself a favor. Either drive to 51st ave and Baseline or drive to Rural and Baseline to get a real smashburger experience. This locatin is not indicative of others in the chain. Or, if driving seven miles either direction is not feasable, there are several better choices in this same parking lot. Avoid this location.

At most smashburgers you can experience what premium fast food CAN be, but rarely is. Good food with fast friendly service in a clean pleasent atmosphere. By contrast, this location is worse than a mc donalds in taste speed quality etc. I've been here 3 times over a few years. Every time has been sub par. I thought that if this is what smashburger is, I'd rather go somewhere else. That was my only basis of comparison until i tried some of the other locations. And again i had been there several times so it wasnt just an off night or it wasn't my mood that one day.

This time i had to wait even though it wasnt too busy. The girl who is a certified trainer was hanging in the parking lot with her friends. After i ordered, I waited and waited. I was talking to another customer and we watched food on the pass sitting and sitting and sitting. We laughed and said id hate to be the poor scjmuck that gets that one. We both assumed it was a phone or internet order. But it turned out to be mine. They should have given me my food once it hit the pass. It was to go and i knew i wasnt going to eat it until i got to my destination but if i eas dining in I would have rejected it. Also I could have been on my way 7-8 minutes faster and I could have eaten liesurely instead of having to wolf it down before my meeting

DO eat at a smashburger. They are pretty darn good! But AVOID THIS...

Terrible experience by far! My family and I ate lunch here today (Saturday July 9th, 2022). 1st, the girl behind the cash register taking our order kept having us repeat the order even as we spoke very clear and slow. 2nd, we went to sit down at a table and one of the employees (I’m assuming) was taking a break and sitting between the only two booths that were available. We asked him if we could sit down at one of them and he seemed put out. The first table was broken and literally falling over and our food went everywhere. We moved to the other table as the employee went to get up and walk outside. As we’re sitting there we noticed ants everywhere and even on the table. Our food was finally brought to us about 15 minutes later. Shortly in to our meal my children found hair in both of their burgers, very gross! Then the girl behind the counter brought out our shakes, what a disappointment. They were only half full (literally) which whatever, not a huge deal. After not finishing our meal and just walking out (on a $60 lunch) we were enjoying the shakes until we discovered some kind of marshmallow, chewy things that were uneatable. Long story short, we would not recommend this location. As far as the other locations of Smashburger, I can’t speak to them as we have never had...
