Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Phoenix

As Tropical Smoothie Cafes go, This one is pretty decent. It was clean and bright, and had a different shape from the others I've been to such that several tables were located and a different space off to the left. This is the fourth Tropical Smoothie Cafe I've gone to in the past year because the ones I keep finding to replace the ones that closed end up closing, too! I hope that this one won't close; the employee I asked said it probably won't close because it's only been there about a year. I went to this location two days in a row, both times getting the chicken pesto sandwich and an Island Green smoothie. The food and drink were of equal quality over both days. The customer service was vastly better today than it was yesterday, when there were two young guys there who were mostly talking to each other unless I asked them a question, and the one who answered had to be asked to provide the same information multiple times because he spoke at such a low volume and mumbled, and neither of them ever smiled. Today, on the other hand, the person who was serving us seemed to be perhaps a manager or assistant manager (or, if not, he should be). He was extremely pleasant, kind, and enthusiastic and gave the kind of customer service that one would hope to receive in such a business. It was a blessing in disguised that the store in Cactus road was closed when we ordered online an Acai bowl and Detox Smoothie (which I find it odd that the Cactus road branch acceptrd an online order when they are already close?) This Thunderbird branch is to the rescue and saved the day ;) The owner is very accommodating and kind to us that earned our business more. The staff, Remi, Tez and Susan are friendly too. What we loved most was the Detox smoothie and pesto flatbread which are healthy and delicious. Unfortunately,we can't go on their grand opening this weekend but we are planning to go back there before we leave Arizona. Thank you...

my husband and i tried this place for the first time on memorial day. i got the cali flatbread and he got the all american wrap. my flatbread was supposed to come with egg, cheese, chipotle mayo, crushed avocado, and choice of protein. only thing i got in it was egg, chicken and cheese. i didn’t ask for any modifications like my husband did and his order came out perfect. we were the only customers too. how do you mess up the only order you have?? unfortunately, none of this was noticed until we got home so i wasn’t able to have it re-made. my husbands wrap and the new ohana smoothie was...
