Sushi Sake Pinecrest — Restaurant in Pinecrest

Usually the service here is great, along with the food but this recent visit wasn’t the best. The waiter never came to check up on us nor ask if we wanted more food, nor did they refill our water. One of my food items sat on the counter for a long time and the waiter didn’t bring it to us. Another waiter had to bring it over and by the time I got it, it was cold. Over all there were 3 waiters/staff working the floor but none checked up on us. We wanted to order more food but when we noticed the lack of service we opted not to order more. I’m a very understanding person especially when a restaurant is packed but it was not packed at all maybe a total of 4 tables being used. For 3 staff/waiters working this should not have happened. We ordered a ramen soup for $12 and we’re told if we wanted to add protein, it would extra, of course, and she didn’t know/say how much it would cost. We ordered it with shrimp and we ate it, it was okay- the shrimp were cut in half, so all together, there were MAYBE 4 shrimp total in the soup. When we got the check, we were shocked to see the extra shrimp were $16!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. That is what a sushi roll costs! When we asked the waitress if this was accurate, she just stood there and said yes. The manager did nothing to fix the situation, didn’t even approach our table. $28 for 8 small shrimp half’s, noodles, and WATER? Absolutely not- never coming back here again. Warning warning this restaurant I have to take my hat off to the chef that cook our food every day to the owners you guys have a good staff of chefs .but for the servers there at this restaurant is horrible every time I go it’s a different bad bad experience tonight 23rd Wednesday was the last time I will go there . I had A group of friends that I dinner with .
