I MUST SAY THIS UPFRONT THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE FOOD, BUT ITS THE SERVICE POST ORDER THAT HAS RATTLED ME I ordered food for pick up, ordered on the website paid for it went and picked up no hiccups at all smooth sailing, got home opened the salad box i ordered everything looked nice.. portion size is great, sauces on the side as i ordered... Felling great till now thinking it is going to be a great evening with great food... And here comes trouble.. i ordered my salad without tomatoes.. but i did add pico to my order so yeah some tomatoes are fine.. i start to eat up and there comes the another layer of diced tomatoes which i didn't order and didn't expect since everything was going great.. Okay time to call see if i can reach out to the people handling the order.. so i went on to the website tried to contact them but seemed like the website wasnt taking my response for some reason... Ok so i made the call to the store.. very nice people spoke to me calmly asked me to send a picture of the extra tomatoes to their given phone number as if they didn't believe me.. i was ok till that point.. next someone gets on the phone says we are sorry blah blah i can only offer you a 5$ coupon for the next time if you cant come in right now.. i agreed as everything else was fine.. she noted down my email and said she would email me.. then comes the email.. the atrocity of this person sending me the email just rattled my conscience, i paid for this food expecting it to be perfect for my self i customized it for a reason to not include the an ingredient, the value of an order means nothing to this company. Daring effort by the company employee to offer 2$ coupon for the next time to do what.. compensate me or to silence me so i dont speak out about this. Takeout doesn't mean i get lower quality food or less than perfect food.. had this incident happened at the store there would have been a new order made out right away.. why does the take out order deserve a less of an responsibility on...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of diced for over 5 years I visit many of their locations weekly , I usually spent over $300.00 per month between lunch and dinner - Today I stopped by the diced of Pinecrest around 3:58 PM to get my usual lunch and I run into a very disappointing experience that I have never experienced before, a young male guy took my order, I always order the same, my chicken bowl without cheese, dressing, corn, onions and I pay extra for quinoa and avocado which is fine as these items are specified in the menu for extra charge. Since they have replaced the black olives with broccoli I have always ask for extra broccoli and never got charged extra for this vegetable at any of the diced locations which I believe is the correct action specially when I am not taking cheese, sauce and many other veggies. This fellow wanted to charge me extra for the broccoli which I found this activity very unpleasant, I tried to explain to him that I’m a very loyal customer and I have never been charged for extra broccoli at any of the 5 locations that I frequently visit however he kept insist that he is going to charge me for, long story short I ended canceling my order and went to grab lunch at Raw South. If diced doesn’t want my business anymore, there are other places that will take my business. Thank you Diced for my beautiful and great experiences for over the past 5 years, I will miss your food but certainly you will miss...
Read moreThe food is pretty good, but over-priced. I feel like I can get this same meal at any of the create-your -own- wrap/ bowl/ salad places that are so popular right now. There's nothing special about the ingredients or flavors or food prep. All proteins are an extra charge. Quinoa and forbidden rice are an extra charge. And this is $2 or $3+ more for each "extra" you add. So that $9 or $10 wrap or salad you thought you were ordering, winds up costing $15. That's without any sides or a drink. This location is also very inconvenient to get to and unpleasant to eat at. They have bizarre slanted parking at the north end of the property, where you can't get by or even pull out of your parking space if 2 large vehicles (anything bigger than a mid- size suv) park on either side of you. Maybe there's parking in between the dine in facility and the drive through, but if not, you're out of options and have to circle back around on US1. Lol forget that and just head to Shorty's. Outside dining is a no go between the car exhaust and traffic noise on US1 and the metrorail right above your head. Inside dining is fine is you want to smell like a smokehouse and enjoy slowly going deaf via generic...
