Sbarro Deals — Restaurant in Pineville

I had an urge for pizza one day for lunch, but I wanted something much more singular. I thought about Sbarro at the mall and that they had strombolis and I thought is sounded like it would be perfect to hit my hunger spot. It was a thursday so the mall wasnt busy and I walked right up as soon as i got there. Everything looked freshly prepared from at least that day. The pasta looked good, but I was now on a strombolli mission! I ordered a Sausage, Bacon and Pepperoni stromboli with a ceasar side salad, and I also got a strawberry lemonade. It was all about $13. The strombolli came with a side of marinara, and the salad came with a dressing (I chose ranch). When I ate it I noticed the bacon was put on top of the roll which fell off almost immediately, but it was still a pretty satisfying lunch. There was lots of what seemed like real shreaded parmesean cheese on a really small salad. I really should have gotten the ceasar dressing...

My fiancé and I went here today for a quick little bite before we did some shopping. Right away, we were not impressed! The cashier didn’t greet us for starters. When we finally decided what we wanted, I said “hey! How are you?” No response on her end, just a eye brow raise and an annoyed energy. Whatever. What made us extremely disgusted was watching one of the associates throw shredded cheese in a bin to use with his BARE hands. NO gloves! Then the same guy continued to cut a pizza with no gloves again. Touching the crust. You would think to avoid breaking sanitation protocol and to avoid Covid exposure, they would have gloves on. Shifty staff!!. This was my last visit to Sbarro Carolina Place Mall. My husband loves their Spaghetti, but never again. He ordered a small Spaghetti and Tea. José said, we have discontinued selling Tea and you can't get a small Spaghetti. He told hubby that he would have to order a Combo ( large Spaghetti, Slice or whatever and a large drink. ). Hubby can't drink sodas and they no longer serve tea, he decided to go someplace else. José and his staff are horrible. It's all money for you Sbarro , so what difference does it make just to order a small Spaghetti for an adult or child. José told us that this was a corporate decision about the Tea. Just...
