The REAL problems came with Katrice, the assistant manager on duty that night. The food arrived cold and Majhane (who is awesome, by the way) asked us to pull to the front parking lot. After waiting there for18 minutes, I got out of the car and walked into the restaurant. I got up to the counter and Majhane pointed me out to Katrice, who was at the register. Katrice looked at me, then turned around to Majhane and said, "I'm just going to refund his money". She didn't even have the courtesy to say this to me directly. I said, "Excuse me?" Katrice said, "Yeah, that food was fine when we gave it to you, I'm not going to remake all that food." I said, "You've got to be kidding me". She said, "No, it was all perfect when you got it." Now you must understand, we had just gotten back from a road trip, we were tired and just wanted the burgers and fries to be warm and presentable. We were not interested in sending product back just to watch Majhane's expression change on her face, which is what was being suggested to me. If the product was "fine", we would not have sent it back. There would have been nothing in it for us to do this. Additionally, you only get half the story by reading what Katrice said. You had to be there. Her attitude from the onset was antagonistic, combative and confrontational. Really, Katrice was beyond contemptible. Now, if she worked for me and treated my customers like that, I would find a way to fire her immediately. But as an HR professional myself, I could see why you wouldn't want to deal with that kind of liability. Plus, you can't exactly afford to lose any more people out of that store. But she's cancerous. In the short time I was in there, I could sense a very low morale and I'm sure that's due to the fact that Katrice is their boss. She herself is a liability. I can only assume that customer-service issues have been brought to her attention before - if so, maybe getting rid of her is exactly the message you...

Read moreTypical fast food breakfast. I tried the egg-normous burrito. It was pretty good for fast food and certainly very big. Mocha iced coffee was okay, but great if you consider that it is only $1. Daughter got the $1 caramel frappe and said it was pretty good. Food would probably get 3 stars. Once again, it wasn't bad--just typical fast food. Dining room was mostly clean except for a few tables that needed wiped down. Employees were super friendly and courteous. I told them that I'm a teacher and asked for extra BK crowns for my class and they very generously gave me some. Employees earn 5 stars. There is free wi-fi but no plug-ins. My daughter and I went to do homework and have breakfast, but the WiFi wasn't good enough to load my online classroom so we ended up across the street at Starbucks...
