Popped in before a concert at ppg paints. The restaurant was about 3/4 full at (no seating at the bar)5:45pm. After a short wait at the door the two of us were seated by the manager. 5 mins later a bus boy brought us chips and salsa. Stale and greasy. Unfortunately, this was the highlight of the meal. 5 minutes later our waiter, and I'll admit he was busting his ass but in the weeds, showed up offered us complimentary margaritas and brought us water and promptly left to look on the other 6 to 8 tables her was covering. After deciding on the fish tacos and my wife ordering a vegetarian combination dish we waited 10 more minutes for our waiter to come back to take our order. This gave us ample time to watch the people working there. First and foremost the manager had a routine to look busy but really did nothing. He would walk around the dining room and never engage customers or staff. Then he would go behind the bar and start spinning a tray on his finger. This was followed by him walking into the kitchen for an average of 45 secs. All to reappear with.....nothing! Then he would a start the process all over again. Meanwhile, at least 4 tables have not been cleared or wiped off. At least 2 of those tables sat like that for 15+ minutes. Contemplated leaving at this point, but stayed. Hostess, came to the table to refill our water glasses with an empty pitcher. Waiter comes with our food. I will admit, I was hungry and ate 1 of the 3 tacos on my plate. Everything but the fish on taco was at least average in appearance and taste. However, the fish...was absolute garbage. It was a "fancy frozen fish stick " that was deep fried for about 3 minutes too long. At this point the hostess comes back with a full pitcher of water and refills our water glasses. My wife picked her plate leaving behind about 90% of her food. She simply stated that her food was not good at all. We push our plates back and I catch our waiter and ask for the bill. The bill gets dropped in the next 3 minutes and he thanks us for coming and tells us we can pay at the hostess stand. We went to settle our bill and the hostess asks us how everything was. I handed her the bill and cash and told her it was bad, really bad. She asked what it was that we didn't like. I told her everything. I did find it odd that she did not offer to get the manager, but she is young and I probably looked pissed off. I did tell her our waiter was not the problem. What it really comes down to is that the busboy and the hostess looked like they were deer in headlights all evening. Our waiter and the 2 other servers were in the weeds big time. All while the manager was busy peacocking around the dining room, offering zero support. I don't what was happening in the kitchen but it is my opinion that it is a similar situation back there. Meaning, no training and poor leadership. Unless, they can get some real leadership in taco inc. I believe that the location they are in will have a for lease sign in the window sooner rather than later. I...

I was very excited to visit a new business on the same strip of my current business. I walked in, asked the host, what is the most popular flavor of tacos? He said tacos and handed me a menu.. I stated what is your favorite favor? He started naming all the tacos off the menu “to me it was smart” I said okay cool, I’ll take the Birrara. I was also asking if it comes with sides or do I order everything separate? He said it doesn’t come with.. I ordered an orange soda and waited until my to go order was ready. I was brought out by drink and when I took a couple is sips I noticed there was no carbonation in it or something. It was watery. I asked the same guy, if he can do me a favor and please check and taste the orange soda because I think it’s out. Very stern he said how when I changed it? I said oh okay, it could just be me. Never offered let me get you another kind etc just no customer service. I was brought the to go tacos and I took my things and left back to my office, he never stated anything as I walked out. Just gave me a blank stare.
I won’t be back for now but maybe in the future. Please work on his customer service. The time was Sunday at...
Read moreThis was easily one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. The problems started with their bizarre "complimentary" liquor situation. Because the restaurant apparently lacks a liquor license, they cannot sell drinks. We only discovered this convoluted rule that margaritas are "free" only when paired with a food order after we were already seated. My friends ordered food, but when I attempted to order a second drink, the waiter simply and bluntly told me no before walking away without a word of explanation. From there, the service dissolved entirely. Our initial waiter never returned to our table. Our food, which included several incorrect orders, was dropped off by a runner who immediately disappeared, making it impossible to request a correction. Since we were on a tight schedule for a concert at PPG, we had to eat the wrong dishes and couldn't even get our check directly. We had to flag down a different waitress who was only partially covering our large party. The entire system was incredibly disorganized, and the staff was unapologetically rude. It's a genuine shame, because the restaurant itself is absolutely charming and has the potential...
