My family went out for lunch and ordered the usual coneys, chicken fingers, fries and salads. The waitress was just okay. She came back once to check on us and then was never seen again. We had to ask another waitress for more drinks etc. After receiving the bill, I noticed we were charged an extra. 50 for buffalo sauce and 1.00 for a side of chili. When ordering the chicken finger meal, the menu said with your choice of sauce (picture of menu I posted). The waitress asked, we said buffalo, never mentioning it would be an extra charge for it. Also one of the hot dogs had a sliver of sauce and we ask could they put a little more on it... Low and behold we were charged 1.00 for the chili and wasn't even informed. When paying for a bill, I asked about the two unexpected charges and the cashier said she'll go ask for the manager. The manager came out in a hostile manner saying that even though the menu doesn't say, they still charge extra! He was also cutting me off in conversation and raising his tone with me. It wasn't about 1.50 but right is right and wrong is wrong. Especially if you're not trying to listen to your customers and being rude and hostile to them! I am very disappointed with his approach and will most likely never visit again!!
Part 2.. You know it amazes me how the "so called manager" comes on here to respond AGGRESSIVELY and tell multiple lies about customers! Your waitress was NOT run down. It was only five of us at the booth. She barely addressed us after bringing the food and the one time she did come back to us, we asked for a refill on a pop and to add more chili to a hot dog.. So if that is running her down then maybe she is in the wrong line of work!! And it's also funny how we had to ask another waitress to get ours and she stated she couldn't find ours and then she got us more hot water for tea. And secondly as far as her telling us it would be an extra charge THAT IS A LIE! It also does not state in your menu withe the chicken fingers meal. Under the meal it states "served with your choice of sauce" which is what I showed the cashier. So you and your waitress are lying on us as well the other people you claim heard her! I'M SURE YOUR CAMERAS WILL SHOW AND AGREE WITH ME ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED... THAT IS IF YOU DONT DELETE IT!! AND AS YOU INSTRUCTED ME "TO TAKE THAT UP WITH LEO" (SARCASTICALLY) I DEFINITELY WILL! Again, I am hard working person and it wasn't about trying to get out of paying 1.50, clearly WE PAID our bill regardless of your RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL manner. As I stated before Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong... Clearly you are aware of it because you came on here telling lies about me and my family trying to appease your unprofessional behavior and your waitress inattentiveness. You need to beware of how you treat people because...
Read moreToday at this restaurant we experienced the worst customer service (wish there was a zero star option) we have ever experienced in our 70+ years. We sat for 10-15 minutes with no contact with a wait person while people who came in after us were being served their food. Five different waitresses walked by and none offered even water or coffee. Finally, I got up and asked Lori, one of the waitresses if anyone was going to wait on our table-another customer recognized the problem and told a waitress that we had been there first. Lori(Laurie?) begrudgingly said she would be over. In summary, regarding Lori, she is totally incompetent and disorganized. She took our order without writing anything down and not surprisingly, I had to send back the wrong omelet, dry toast and barely cooked hash browns (ordered extra crispy). But the real problem is her "pit bull wing girl" (black hair with mahogany rinse and almost more makeup than attitude). She proceeded to argue loudly and defensively all the reasons for both the slow service and the wrong food. She said she and Lori had been there 15 years and that their boss (Bashear?) knew how hard they worked, implying that complaints about customer service would have no impact. When I asked to speak with him, I was told he was "out of the country ". Some of the excuses we heard: 1. I only make $5/hr (your job choice and corresponding salary is your choice and not really my problem). 2. I try to help people rather than complain (is it helpful to scream while other customers are trying to enjoy their breakfast.) 3. Supposedly we were not served in a timely manner because "we have a rotation system", whatever that means. 4. When I said my whole order was wrong, she said "well you got food didn't you"? 5. She followed up with "you don't have to come back if you don't like it"...clearly our decision about that was already made! Mary and the blonde woman with the dog tag necklace are assets to this organization but cannot make up for the toxic, argumentative and defensive attitude of the pit bull nor the apparent incompetence of Lori. This ship seems to be without a captain and customer service is abysmal if you have the waitresses we unfortunately did. Bashear you...
Read moreI would be lying if I said my first interaction with the restaurant staff this past Thursday was pleasant. I called to inquire about whether they had power and were open, and the reply was curt. I decided to go in anyway, and the staff totally pulled a 180 and made our dining in outstanding.
It was VERY busy, and there was a sign on the door asking for patience as they were understaffed. There were few tables to sit at as the busser was overwhelmed with cleanup. The waitstaff was also understaffed, so of no help to bus and booking it from table to kitchen to table and back. My daughter and I found the perfect table for us in the back nook, and sat down. After a few minutes it was clear the sign wasn't lying as I watched only 2-3 servers deftly handling the whole floor. When our server Dawn approached, she was immediately apologetic and clearly exhausted. I told her no apology was necessary as it was obvious she was working her hardest.
Our drinks came about 10 minutes later, as I watched more than a few people come in and leave, frustrated immediately by the "lack of service" and added wait time 🤷♀️ One couple even remarked to Dawn that they had been waiting for too long, and she kindly explained to them that because they chose to sit at a dirty table, it appeared they had finished already. Our food did take a while to arrive. But it came hot and smelling delicious. It was clear that even the kitchen was backed up, with seats full and pickup orders out the door. How were they even delivering?! Yet at no point did I see any staff member become visibly irritable, snippy or impatient. Instead they worked as a team, crisscrossing isles and refilling coffees as they took orders and brought plates.
Leo's staff of Thursday 8/12 morning, thank you all so much for being grateful under pressure and feeding us breakfast, as our power (and therefore all our kitchen...
