If you follow me you know i give my reviews straight up. So here it goes. My 17 yr old son and i went to bru burger plainfield on july 13th one day after his birthday and six days before mine. Prior to going we was able to look at the menu online and place a reservation. Opening time 11am. Doors actually opened at 1105 am. No biggie,no wait. We was seated at a small table where we immediatly ordered. Two waters, one i believe its wipe your face burger or a name simuliar to the face burger with chili cheese fries, kill the cow and nachos bbq pulled pork style. It took roughly about 20 or little longer for the food to come but wow the portions was good size. The food hot, the fries didnt come as asked for however we was told keep the plain fries and they brung out the chili cheese fries as well. The nachos on a plate so big you could split with three people. The waiter checked up on us 2 times total during our time their. He was very sweet. He gave us both our own bday treat. My son a root beer float and myself the whiskey brownie. Wow The food was beyond amazing taste. If you like the spicey stuff the burger we ordered contained habenaro and jalapeno. My son loved it. The bill ran about 32. Bucks between us two and we was thanked for our service. Yes i would return here. I had enough leftovers to bring home and give to my daughter. It was generally a nice experience. The food was mostly good and the service was fast.

We only waited a few minutes for a table on a Saturday night. That's quick by my standards. I could tell it had been a very evening by the overall appearance. There was food dropped on the floor from prior customers and not yet cleaned up.

Our server was punctual all the way through. Absolutely no complaints there.

I only have a couple of nit picky complaints. We ordered the soft pretzels as an appetizer. The beer cheese was extremely thin and runny.

I also had the triple cheese garlic burger. It was oosing with aioli. I like aioli but I don't want it running off my bun.

The burger was good but probably not $10 good. Perhaps because it was drowning in aioli but the burger flavor didn't really come out. It also has the appearance of a preformed frozen patty but I cannot confirm that.

The fries were excellent.

Finally, the whiskey brownie. I expected a brownie made with actual whiskey to taste like whiskey. Or alcohol. Or bad decisions. But it tasted like a fudgy chocolate brownie. With vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup. I would recommend but beware, there is nothing boozy about...
