I could not wait to post a review!!!! a couple weeks ago we got dominos carry out. we ordered 1 free pizza and an order of 14 ct buffalo wings. When my boyfriend went to pick up the pizza he got 2 small boxes along w it. The person who took our order was a man and the person who rang him up was a woman (manager). The woman told my boyfriend his total was $28 and he said, "that seems high for an order of wings" and she said ya, $10 each and he said so they're 14 wings? and he said yes. Now granted I wouldnt have let go so easily, but he did...so newho, when my boyfriend got home, I looked at the receipt and the amount of wings we had, we had been charged for 2 orders of 14 wings, and received both of those orders. I called the store to make the manager aware of the situation and she just said, "well I explained to him the pricing" etc. My boyfriend is a 28 yr old educated man so whatever the woman most likely said to him was not a complete thought or thorough enough to be grasped. Anyways, the problem was her professionalism in handling my phone call.....first off the woman was very defensive, she gave me the run around, and finally she decided to credit our acct. I DO NOT WANT TO EAT AT DOMINOS ANYMORE I said and she basically ignored me. Therefore the $10 credit to the acct is pointless.
I decided to drop the situation and simply call corporate, once I did, the man was mortified at how she acted and said something would be done immediately. Just a few days later the manager called me FROM HER CELL PHONE, ON HER DAY OFF!!! I was flabbergasted. I mean...really???? your cell phone....AND...to top it off she was rude, once again. She stated " I had already dealt with this issue and I am not sure why after a week I am hearing about it still" I said well I talked to corporate and something needed to be done. Then she said, I gave you your credit on your account I am not sure what else you want me to do, as if the credit was the most important thing that could be done. She also complained about the fact that she had given me the credit on the acct when I was not planning on using it...$10...it was only $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if it were coming out of her pocket anyways....
The woman was very rude, condescending and she was absolutely trying to intimidate me...I talked to domino's corporate AGAIN, and the woman I spoke to was also mortified at how unprofessional she was acting and also agreed that it seemed the woman was trying to stay out of trouble from her overhead and also said it seemed she was trying to intimidate and scare me away from continuing this further....The woman really needs to not throw her "weekend manager" status around because she obviously is someone who is not willing to put in the small effort of an apology or a soft voice to diffuse the situation. Instead, she now looks like an idiot and corporate will be contacting her store for a second time!!
needless to say...the weekend manager, im assuming, is a rude rude rude woman with some issues. All I want is someone sweet and understanding to call me and apologize for THEIR mistake and tell me the situation has been addressed...isn't THAT customer service?
I am awaiting my call from the District Supervisor and I expect him...
Read moreI just wanted to bring it to people's attention because I know a lot of people aren't aware of including myself until I had done it myself a while back.. For anyone requesting delivery from anywhere whether it be directly from the restaurant or an Uber Driver or similar services, please remember to tip your driver! Obviously it's not mandatory but they do you work very hard. I used to drive for Papa John's and although they have a delivery charge that has absolutely nothing to do with the driver.. I'm not quite sure why they have a delivery charge. It's not like restaurant or business itself is doing anything extra for a delivery. Unless they have their own company vehicles. Other than that I mean, they'd have to give you the box and bag or whatever anyway.lol These people seriously are doing it as fast they can and risking their safety by doing so and also put a lot of wear and tear on a vehicle and putting yourself at risk and all kinds of crazy weather conditions and crazy people with road rage and anger issues and rush hour. We all know how crazy it can get in traffic sometimes. So there's a lot of things to consider when you are getting something brought to you. I know a lot of people did not know that the delivery charge doesn't go to the driver at any restaurant or Uber drivers and places alike. Uber drivers only get the tip period. I tried it for about a week and couldn't believe it.. Anyways back to review Have ordered from other Domino's before had a few issues but I've ordered from this location twice in the last week and a half and the food was really good and stuff was very nice and the young man that brought the pizza was very polite and quickest time I had ever gotten my pizza from anywhere.. on a busy weekend I got it in less than 45 minutes!!!! While my friends and I were out shopping in Metropolis and I know it was kind of hard to locate us, but he was very understanding about it and I had a really good attitude. Thanks again Andrew! Keep up the...
Read moreUnacceptable…I placed my order before even leaving work (5:47). As I arrive at the pickup-window (6:08), no one even came to the window to greet me until 6:21. The person then told me “We’ve been super backed up but it looks like it’s just going in the oven, should just be 10-15 minutes”. As I have worked at two pizzas stores before, I was understanding at first. After another 20 minutes (6:41) I didn’t hear anything on my order. So I then proceed to walk inside to see whats going on. Once I sit down I see a single large pizza sitting on the heat rack. The same person asks my name again, and then says “yours is next to come out of the oven”. Not it is 6:53, and a different employee asks which order was mine. Lo and behold she goes to check the heat rack and grabs the single large box I saw when coming in. I finally leave at 6:54, with a pizza that has CLEARLY sat on the heat rack for a while. ONCE AGAIN, it is perfectly acceptable to get a rush of orders. But there are systems that allow the store to set time expectations, and you can call customer to let them know their orders will be delayed. DO NOT let them sit at your pickup window for almost an hour, not greet them, and once they come in the store not actually check for their order because youve been “backed up”. (PS. You had an employee just sitting out on their vehicle possibly asleep). Long story short,...
