The first time I went to this location was great. I even got a couple free cookies! This time was underwhelming. I ordered the same thing as last time: A waffle bowl sundae. I've been looking forward to it all week.

The order was ready on time when I got there which is great, the girl behind the counter was fast and friendly, and the quality of the ingredients was good, but everything was served a la carte which means I had to make my own sundae with the ingredients they put in my bag, they forgot the whipped cream, and the waffle bowl wasn't made right.

I think I get why they throw the ingredients in a bag: because they don't want the waffle bowl to get soggy and make a mess. If I have to put all the ingredients together what is the advantage of going to Ben & Jerry's instead of a grocery store? At least if I did that, I would either save some money or get more for my dollar.

And let me add one other thing. A sundae without whipped cream is wrong, sir.

Update: I ordered a sundae again, but this time without the waffle bowl. What they gave me looked pitiful. I asked them if it's supposed to come with two scoops because the sundae option gives you two flavors so I assumed that meant two scoops. They told me 1) technically it's a scoop and a half and 2) it looks like less when it's served in this cup. They even said they weighed the ice cream on the scale before hand and gave me exactly the correct amount. One of these picture shows what I picked up at B&Js (I'll give you one guess which one it is). I think for $6.49 + 20% tip I should have gotten more. I am absolutely confident I didn't even get a whole scoop. Half of it is whipped cream. Not going back. I don't...

Horrible, horrible service tonight! The girl had so much attitude when taking the order. When I asked what her issue was, she screamed that she had been there since 5am and she "was tired!!!!!" I can't even say her name bc of course she wasn't wearing a name tag. I told her that if she didn't like it then she didn't have to be there.... I'm not sure how you can talk to customers like that and still have a job....I probably interrupted whatever she was listening to in her ear....anyways... I don't recommend this location. We are from the little elm area so it was sad to have driven here and be treated like that. Will go to Handel's in the future, I heard they're great!

Edit: strange that after "reviewing film" you can't hear her saying any of the stuff she said to us. It's ok I will send you the tiktok link for the video we took of her and then maybe you can hear the "misunderstanding". She was literally screaming! And no, there was not a large group there also. (This is how I know you didn't pay attention). You should also probably review your cameras because since your employee said she had been there since 5am, she may be living there. I hope you can learn to take reviews from your customers and react with your employees next time. Stop the excuses and do better! Remember that customers pay yours and your employees' bills!

*If you are reading this review pay attention to the fact that anytime someone posts a review that is unsatisfactory, the owner gives an excuse or argues and gets defensive. It's apparent that they don't care what customers think because the bad reviews are consistent for...

I would strongly advise thinking twice before choosing Plano Ben & Jerry's Catering for your event. My experience was extremely disappointing, to say the least. From the get-go, they showed an utter lack of professionalism. They have a strict, no-exceptions policy on the amount of ice cream served, and they nickel-and-dime you for every little thing, which felt incredibly frustrating.

The worst part, though, was dealing with their manager. I received a text after hours, day of the event at 10pm. The following morning an invoice came for overage served. Which I didn't agree with the numbers, they seemed to have changed overnight. Then, received a second emailed invoice on a Sunday evening—barely 24 business hours after the invoice was originally sent. A little respect for the weekend and time off would go a long way.

To add insult to injury, the representative who showed up to our event was dressed unprofessionally—sweatpants and a dirty sweatshirt, resembling something more suited for a lazy day at home than a professional event. It was borderline disrespectful.

Additionally, their trash was scattered across the parking lot which our staff had to chase and collect and it was clear they had little regard for tidying up after themselves. The lackadaisical attitude and overall unprofessionalism left a sour taste, and I would not recommend this catering service to anyone planning an important event.

Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable,...

I have been eying going to Ben & Jerry’s for so long and I decided to go after work one day. The shop is located on the southbound side of Preston in a strip mall. There were 2 young girls working there and 2 women enjoying ice cream. I took my time to decide what to get. I looked at the menu and the ice cream on display in the freezer. Many of the ice cream containers looked old and/or melted and refrozen. There were also options of plain waffle cones, waffle bowls, and chocolate covered cones/bowls. I was really disappointed with the state of ice cream, but I gave it a shot an ordered a double scoop (chocolate brownie and mint chocolate) in a waffle cone. It cost almost $8. Crazy!!! The ice cream was good though. I don’t know if I would come here again. I might just go to Braum’s or another ice cream shop.
