Really vibey coffee house with good quality drinks.
Lots of spots to take quality pictures for your social media, but this place isn't all looks. The drinks were very well made, not too milk heavy and the coffee flavor is quite unique (bold with a fruity essence).
I got a sugar free version of the Caramel Truffle, which at first tasted really plain but when I went back up to the counter they happily added more syrup and it was perfect. Not too sweet at all.
The barista recommended the Caramel Blondie to my friend, it was pretty tasty and not too sweet.
If you like dutch bros you would enjoy this spot, a good variety of smoothies, coffee, and energy drinks.
The ambiance is really unique compared to the rest of Plano, lots of fun art and music (all rap music). I wouldn't necessarily come here to work on my laptop, but if louder music doesn't bother you then it could be a good study spot. I would say the vibe is more of a hangout place for friends.
Lots of very comfortable leather seating, and outlets all around for those who do want to work while enjoying their drink.
Bathrooms were pretty clean, I felt like they were a little plain compared to the rest of the store which is quite colorful.
I would say not very kid friendly, the music they play can be pretty explicit (doesn't bother me but it may bother some).
Will be back when I'm...
Read moreThere is no real food here. Just a handful of pastries by the register. Okay drink selection.
The service was a real bummer. The place was completely empty except for two guys working on their laptops. So it’s not an error I can forgive because the place was packed or something. I was so excited to visit this coffee shop and make it one of my regular work hangout places. I asked for a chai latte with 3 Splendas in a ceramic mug. Instead I got a regular latte no foam or cinnamon with a different sweetener than I asked for, in a to go cup.
Besides the appalling service (the employees were nice, just terribly incompetent). There are huge windows on three sides of the building and they don’t seem to have shades to lower as the bright sun hits you in full from east or west. Starbucks and other coffee places around here all have shades. It’s Texas, the sun is brutal and a bother on screens. We were there at 5pm and had to negotiate finding a fully shaded spot.
As far as atmosphere. It’s nice. Brand new. Everything is new and fresh and that’s nice. It’s a stylish place. The music is a little too loud and a little distracting, I’d rather they play something more neutral but whatever. I’m not coming back.
P.s. The upholstered chairs at the long table are very comfortable as well as the big club chairs...
Read moreEverything about this coffee shop, including menu, service, and furniture is so nice and clean. I wanted to love this place as my go to coffee shop. However, the music they play through out the whole café is so extremely loud. As I am sitting here with my drink, I meant to work on laptop a little bit, but the music is so LOUD up to the level where I can't focus even with my noise cancelling earphones on. I tried to play my own music to cover the background music. Still I hear the background music louder and clearer than my own music through the noise cancelling earphones. It's like sitting at a club with heavy bass banging in your eardrums. It's not just a certain spot next to a speaker. Throughout the whole café, your eardrums vibrate and heart beats to the music they play. I guess it could be their business strategy to keep customers from staying too long with their laptops and books. Unfortunately, I won't comeback due to the extreme loudness. I hope owner would see my comment and turn down the volume or at lease the bass setting....
